My name is Mike Lebowski. I come from the Appalachian Mountains of NC, USA. After college I moved to the Rockies where I was an avid outdoorsman. I hold a degree from Mountain State university in forestry and conservation. My father was a retired Sheriff In Haywood County and my mother was a stay at home mom. I growing up and after college I spent some time experimenting with mind altering chemicals, and am proud to say I have been clean and sober for 12 years. I worked for two years in public service as an EMT and Firefighter in the Northshore of the California mountains before moving to Los Santos to finally settle sown to start a new career in corrections and law enforcement.

How much time and energy do you plan on dedicating towards the department in the event you are hired?
I would like to dedicate a minimum of 20-30 hours per week as an SA correction officer.

Why do you want to join the San Andreas Department of Corrections, and why should we hire you over other applicants? (minimum 125 words)
As a San Andreas Department of Corrections officer I hope to see that justice is served and sentences carried out in accordance with the level of detainment prescribed by the state. I want to explore further training options in the SADOC and work hard to prove to myself and my colleagues that I am a valuable asset to the community. Growing up as a child of the Sheriff you get to grow up with a respect for law and the services they provide. I bring a wide variety of assets and knowledge of public service to the community as well as a strong work ethic. Not knowing any other applicants I can not speak ill of their disposition, nor make a valid argument as to my worth over theirs. All I know is I am eager and willing to learn. I aim to excel in this new journey in life and give 110%, and make this milestone in my ultimate career in law enforcement, just as my father did before me.

How do you handle pressure or stressful situations?
I am known as the cooler. I am firm and fair and remain calm as to not escalate the situation beyond the yellow zone. I work with a level head under pressure and can think on the fly to find a resolution to the problem at hand.

What qualifications or traits do you possess that may be an asset to us (minimum 75 words)?
I am a former EMT, have applied for my firearm license and waiting the approval and have a squeaky clean background. As a child of law enforcement I was brought up with the respect and values needed to succeed in an enviroment that requires a calm demeanor. I am fun yet stern and feel I have the ability to de- escalate a bad situation before it gets out of hand. I am a hard working man with good morals and values. I have overcome obstacles to get to where I am and want to give this back to those who may need it.

Not in LS. Only as an EMT on the Northshore.

Yes, as an EMT and Firefighter It required complete teamwork to do the job effectively. Everyone has a role and must work together to make thing happen fluidly.
