Please provide a short biography about yourself (minimum 100 words):
I am Lamark Ikumad, and im a 25 year old man. Some of my favorite things to do are go fishing and go for long drives along the beach. I also enjoy shooting guns for target practice as its a great stress reliever and way to pass time. Growing up in Vice City, in a single parent household me and my brother where not the best behaving kids. My brother Dashar came to Los Santos in hopes of becoming something big yet resorted into criminal activities. Shortly after he arrived i followed but fully avoided being in criminal activities. Learning from my brothers mistakes, I have set the goal to number 1 not be in the criminal system and number 2, make an impact in peoples lives by help them avoid being in the system, and coming back into the system.
I plan on spending 6-8 hours per week in whatever department im hired in.
I believe i should be hired over other applicants because I've grown up in an environment where people are very often sent to correctional facilities and because of their convict record struggle to get jobs and come back. and i want to make a difference in helping reduce the cycle of criminals that repeat and go back to prison. Unfortunately my brother was someone i could not save from a life of crime, but for people similar to him, i know i can make a difference. I think the DOC is a good place to work, and We The department of corrections, should be helping these people correct their mistakes and leading them into a new and positive life, which is something that I plan to do.
Im always aware of the issue and circumstances at hand. Then i judge the situation before I react. You need to be calm and relaxed when you are in a situation that can be very stressful, and clearly you can't fold when under pressure. These are all traits i've learned playing highschool football.
A trait i possess that can be beneficial to the DOC is my athleticism. I've been very athletic my whole life and played on numerous sports teams. Also, I know how to talk to people and treat others with respect. I'm good at reading peoples energy just by talking to them for a few minutes, this helps me make safe and accurate predictions and decisions. When it comes to working I'm Respectful, on time, and passionate about the task at hand.
