I am Myles Duglin, I was born in a small town in Indiana and had a loving family. My father worked at the local prison, he would make sure the prisoners weren't starting a riot or trying to escape. When I was 10 years of age, it bring your kid to work day, and when I went I was a little scared as I was in a prison and the prisoners were scary. As I saw what he does like make sure they have nothing on them I started to admire what he does. It was from then I wanted to do something like this. I am a humble and dedicated person, I will not let you down.
How much time and energy do you plan on dedicating towards the department in the event you are hired?
As I do work at the DCC, but I do plan on leaving because I feel like me and my bosses got off on the wrong foot and that they don't care about me. So if I land this job I will most likely resign from the DCC.
Why do you want to join the San Andreas Department of Corrections, and why should we hire you over other applicants? (minimum 125 words)
I want to join the San Andreas Department of Corrections because I do like working in high-stress situations, and will be a good fit for the company. I wanted to join the SADOC for a while now, but when I came into town they weren't hiring, so I decided to join the DCC until a job comes up, don't get me wrong I like the DCC, but it was my fault that we got on the wrong foot as I was being lazy, but I do promise that I will not let that happen this time, I will make sure I am performing my best at all times I'd make an excellent addition to the team and it would be a true pleasure to join.
How do you handle pressure or stressful situations?
Yes I would say so, I am a calm and relaxed person. I stay focused on what I am doing. I will always get the job done.
What qualifications or traits do you possess that may be an asset to us (minimum 75 words)?
I am hardworking and dedicated to my job. I do tell the truth and am understanding. I can handle a firearm which I think would be a good trait to have for this job, and I know how to calm people down a little. As I do drive around people all day, I do get those few people who are a little crazy and am able to calm them so I can make it there safe. I believe I am a great fit for the department.
Do you have any previous military or law enforcement history? If so, elaborate:
Not really, but my brother was in the military for some time and would teach me a few things here and there.
Have you ever worked for a government agency? If so, which one and what was your position?
No.
Do you have any previous experience working as part of a team?
Yes at the DCC.
Have you ever been convicted of a crime? If so, explain:
I did get in trouble for having tickets that I did not pay, the only reason I didn't pay them on time was that I was low on funds and was waiting for pay day to pay them.
