Please provide a short biography about yourself (minimum 100 words):
I was born and raised in mexico where i lived in a small house with my mother, father, uncle and my two cousins, Isaac and Rico crane. In Mexico I was at first a mechanic where i would work weekdays with my father, fixing cars day in and day out. For the last 7 years i spent in mexico i was part of the sheriff department however shortly after me joining the force my father and grandmother passed away and my two cousins had moved to Los Santos. After members of my family had passed in Mexico I had missed the feeling of family. I gave my cousin Isaac a call and he told me the dream he was living in the city of Los Santos as a relaxed cab driver. I decided that now was the time for a change in life, something new. My cousins gave me keys to a new elegy retro custom and a place to stay, life in Los Santos can be hard nothing comes free, i had to have one source of income and i noticed the Department Of Corrections at the job event in Fort Zancudo and decided with my past experience here is the place to be.
I can work up to a maximum of 40 hours a week and plan on working well over 5 hours a week and putting 100% effort into the job as I see it been very enjoyable.
I want to become corrections officers for both idealistic and practical reasons. Many future correctional officers want to help people. I believe I can provide discipline and stability to people whose lives have neither. To me, a correctional officer career means more than punishing people. I have always wanted to work in law and have worked as a sheriff for 7 years of my life in Mexico as a traffic enforcement officer, my dream as a child was always to work in some kind of law and after arriving to Los Santos I feel that DOC is perfect for me here as it is very similar to what I did when i was living in Mexico. I also belive you should hire me over other applicants because I can speak fluent English and also Spanish from my time in Mexico.
I handle stressful situations by staying as calm as possible and keeping the situation as my number on priority whilst maintaining a calm and professional manner.
I have the traits of been part of a previous government job when I was part of the Bernalilo sheriff department as a traffic enforcement officer as of this I know how to deal with situations that require a lot of focus and keeping a calm mind set whilst having safety as my number one priority. I also have very good communication skills that will help me with not only the radio chatter but also communicating with the inmates.
