  • On April 1st, 2020, Commissioner Lewis Langley, Commissioner Samuel Osborn and Los Santos Police Department Sergeant Lukas Montana were ruthlessly attacked and held at gunpoint while shopping at the Grove Street 24/7. The situation was quickly solved thanks to the quick response and efficient tactics by the Los Santos Police Department and the Los Santos County Sheriff's Department. While the Commissioners and the Police Sergeant walked away mostly unharmed, several officers did not.

This was an unprovoked attack by individuals of the West Coast Assassins, a gang suspected to be led by a DeAndre King. After investigating this attack further, it was found that the West Coast Assassins has regularly attacked customers of Grove Street 24/7 in order to suppress the income of its owner, who to this date, has refused to sell the store to them. This store would need to be registered with the San Andreas State Government to be considered legal, and considering their current actions, it's likely that won't happen should they come into ownership of the store.

After the incident on April 1st, the San Andreas State Government issued an order to law enforcement which included certain measures. This was a low-response initiative which was met by extreme violence by the West Coast Assassins. For the past 72 hours, there have been several reports from Police Officers about unprovoked attacks all throughout the city.

We would like to reassure the public of San Andreas, more specifically, Los Santos, that law enforcement has this situation under control. Not one single individual in the State of San Andreas should have their freedom deprived of them, or walk with the fear of a potential attack when shopping at stores or walking into new neighborhoods. Gang violence has long pestered our state, and when this violence grows so rapidly and to the extreme levels that it is today, we cannot sit back and not take drastic measures.

We would also like to reassure the West Coast Assassins that the San Andreas State Government will assist our law enforcement to tackle this issue swiftly and efficiently, with any legal means necessary. To this date, through hard work from intelligence officers and Police Detectives, we have built up a very long list of past and current associates of the West Coast Assassins, including their registered home addresses, registered vehicles and so forth. We will not hesitate to take even further drastic measures to ensure that peace and order are maintained in our state. We also extend this as a warning to any other gangs residing in San Andreas, should you assist in these attacks against law enforcement, then our drastic measures will extend to you as well.

During these violent times, we ask that the public stay more vigilant and that you report any suspicious gatherings of potential gangs to 911, or anonymously to Law Enforcement through other means. Again, we reassure you that we'll soon have this temporary issue under control.

(( On an Out of Character note, we would like to emphasize that the level of IC response from law enforcement will match the level of violence towards law enforcement and/or civilians. This is only reasonable, and we are not purposely doing it to ruin anybody's gameplay. Any response from the Government and/or Law Enforcement is purely In Character and in response to IC violence. We hope that all parties can respect one another Out of Character and keep this conflict In Character. ))
