"A TRADITION OF SERVICE"
Sheriff John Wallace

  • DEPUTY OF THE MONTH - March 2020
    -
  • Each month, Command and Executive Staff of the Los Santos County Sheriff's Department come together and elect one Sheriff's Deputy to be chosen as the Deputy of the Month. This recognition is one of the most prestigious recognition a Sheriff's Deputy can be bestowed upon in the Department. Deputies who receive this recognition award can be seen as role-models within the Department, for their excellence and commitment.

For the month of March, we are proud to announce Master Deputy Jason Wild as the Deputy of the Month. Deputy Wild joined the department back in October and has shown great work effort to the department. Deputy Wild graduated from the Academy on October 20th, 2019 and he graduated from our Field Training Program on October 28th, 2019. Since then, Deputy Wild has shown the ability to adapt and be a quick learner, and he has through hard work, effort, and great ambition, proved himself to be an exemplary deputy. He then joined the Field Training Division to pass on his knowledge and train the next generation of Deputies. Deputy Wild didn’t stop there, but continued to join our Recruitment and Employment Division and Advanced Training Division, in which he is the Head Academy Instructor leading and planning academies, selecting the next batch of Deputy Sheriff Trainees and putting them through thorough interviews and examinations. It is also worth mentioning that Deputy Wild plays an integral part in continuously training Deputies in the field relating to specialized field equipment as he is an instructor in the Advanced Training Division. Most recently, Deputy Wild became the Assistant Commanding Officer of the Air Support Division in which he runs the day to day operations of the Air Support Division, as well as staff management and the respectable paperwork.

The Sheriff's Department's Executive Staff wish Master Deputy Jason Wild nothing but a continually developing and promising career with the Department, and that he remains faithful to his commitments to provide a traditional and excellent service to the community. On behalf of the Department, Master Deputy Jason Wild will receive a bonus payment of $1,000.00 (($100,000.00)).
