Bishop Canon was born and raised in Ciudad Juárez, Mexico by his mother and father. Along with other siblings, including family members. His father was a rather hard-working man; and owned a construction business of his own. His mother on the other hand, worked as a maiden at Hotel Maria Bonita Consulado Americano, this helped the family gain enough financial assistance. In order to get passport's to the United States of America, where the family would reside in a suburban neighborhood, in Los Angeles, California. Furthermore Bishop's Mother; enrolled him and her siblings into school.
In middle school Bishop was enticed to join the Los Angeles Police Department's Cadet Program. This would help Bishop learn all about Law Enforcement, by going on ride-along's with LAPD officers. Help direct traffic, especially; during charity events and other protocols used by the LAPD, by the time he gained enough popularity at his middle school. He would graduate and go to High School where Bishop would take up the Marine's JROTC program; also known as Junior Officer Reserve Training Corps, commonly known to help young men and women, gain knowledge in self discipline, wellness, leadership, and diversity. It is also known to help young men and women enlist as a higher rank contingent to finishing a certain amount of time in JROTC.
Where like Cadets participate in a myriad of co-curricular activities to demonstrate their attainment of lesson outcomes. Some of these activities include precision and exhibition military drill competitions, air rifle competitions (optional), Raider Challenge competitions, JROTC Leadership and Academic Bowl (JLAB), Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) Camp, and a physical fitness competition known as JROTC Cadet Leadership Challenge (JCLC). Cadets who complete 4 years of JROTC co-curricular activities and its challenging curriculum will be more college and/or career ready.
Following High School Bishop applied for and was accepted into UCLA or University of California - Los Angeles. Where he got a masters degree in criminal justice. Following his college years Bishop, moved to Fort Carson, SA and met a Detective in the Los Santos Sheriff's Department, where he spent time helping with classified criminal cases; following his time helping the Detective he was called out of town for a family emergency but later returned and spotted advertisements for the Los Santos Fire Department, and decided since becoming a deputy or police officer would be hard, his next best option is to apply for the SaDoC. Behold, here he is, applying for DoC.
I would be able to pull of 15 hours every week at bare minimum, if not 25+.
I want to join the Department of Corrections to protect inmates and overall serve my country. I believe there is a lot I can learn from joining DoC which I look forward to but I feel like I also have a lot to offer. I can do long shifts, and have a strong work ethic. I mostly plan to strive for experience in the DOC and generally learn how to better work and understand my colleagues. Im able to connect with others and create a bond so that they respect me and listen to me. Im also very good at reading people and protecting and doing my job the right way every day on time as im required to and go above and beyond helping others.
I handle pressure and stressful situations quite well. If you don't know how to handle stress I feel this job isn't for you and it can cause a lot of issues, and unneeded problems within the DoC.
I'm skilled at handling stressful issues and I'm skilled at resolving them also. I work well with others and have a lot of resilience. I'm also Open minded to learn what others do and why and show them what I do and why. I am a quick learner and can adjust to a lot of things rather quickly which puts me ahead of a lot of other people. I just wish to help protecting and serving this city and its people!
