Why do you want to join the San Andreas Department of Corrections?
Once I attempted to visit a friend in prison for the long run, only to find that not one guard ever had time to acknowledge me being at the buzzer. (never anyone online it seems!)
How do you handle pressure or stressful situations?
I'm a modern, urban cowboy, see. I been in some tough situations as a commercial trucker, being held at gunpoint for my expensive load. Ain't nothin' to act weak till they turn their back, see. They forget ol' Lightnings' got a gun himself.
How much time and energy do you plan on dedicating towards the department in the event you are hired?
At least 70% of my time here in this state, see. I ain't got family or friends, only the desire for a house with a picket fence.
What qualifications or traits do you possess that may be an asset to us (minimum 75 words)?
As a trucker in the oil and gas field, security clearance has been a necessity just to pick up and deliver certain fuel mixes. I don't take no crap, and i'm always quicker than the schedule. Keeping business in line is Lightnings' second road name. Being a trucker, I know how to take a package from one spot to the other with no damage and on time. This could be the same with prisoner delivery. The Police should not have to deliver prisoners to the prison, they should be kept in their holding cell until we pick them up in a very timely manner. Less time an officer spends jacking off at the Pen., the more time they can spend making this great city free of garbage.
Please provide a short biography about yourself (minimum 100 words):
I am simply a country man from the northern area of the state. Worked at a burger shop for a few years, but that got old pretty quit. Grew up there, most of my high school friends either went on to become sheriff or being arrested by the others. So I started driving for a trucking company, and it was working out well enough until one day I was held up at gunpoint because of a fuel delivery that was scheduled to be stolen by some crime mob in town. I realized then I needed to switch my career path, and being behind big armed guarded towers with all those criminals at my watch, well that just sounded right to me. In my free time, I usually just head to the countryside to fish, hunt, or just run my stupid monster truck in the sand. Anything to pass the time till my next shift. My first major goal is to not be living paycheck to paycheck, as burgers are quite expensive these days. Once im comfortable, I will be shooting for a place to live closer to my career choice.
Why should we hire you over anyone else (minimum 100 words)?
I have got a bit more charisma than the normal cowboy trying to strut into town. I will be able to talk down those criminals from killing each other to at least dealing with each other a bit more peacefully. It is a bit of a skill i have been able to hone for years in the current business, being more of a target these days. I mean what inmate will hate the guard that allows for water aerobics? Because I am a trucker, the logistics end of things should run more smoothly. I can ensure we pick up prisoners from the holding cells in each of the police headquarters, each day. This will give officers more time on patrol instead of delivering prisoners themselves to the prison. Logistics inside the prison could run more smoothly as well, as I can help to schedule and initiate inmate work projects, making sure we only recruit the best-of-the-worst inmates to clean our toilets and scrub our showers.

Dear Applicant,
After further review and consideration, we regret to inform you that you have not made it through this round's recruitment and your application has therefore been archived. The interest shown towards joining San Andreas Department of Corrections these past rounds has as mentioned been increasingly high. With only limited spots to fill, we cannot hire all of our applicants, regretfully.
You are, however, more than welcome to reapply when recruitment opens again next time! We thank you for your patience with this process and ask that you not be discouraged. We had a lot of applications and too few spots to fit everyone. Thank you for the interest that you have shown in our department. We wish you all the best going forward.
Sincerely,
Ren Atkinson
