Important Information

Former employees of the San Andreas Department of Corrections, as well as those who have worked at another prison ((ooc reinstatements)), are eligible to request a reinstatement or transfer to the SADOC if they received an honorable or dishonorable discharge.
(( This applies to both IC and OOC Discharges ))

We handle reinstatements and prison transfers similiar, except that prison transfers ((ooc reinstatements)) must have worked at another prison (( OOC reinstatements must roleplay that they have worked in a different prison and received permission from the faction leader (zaeria in Discord) to OOCly reinstate. ))
((If you have been OOC Discharged for corruption, you must seek permission from the faction leader (zaeria in Discord) before submitting your reinstatement.))
If your reinstatement or prison transfer was denied you must wait at least 14 days before submitting a new request.
((Must have no server punishments for at least 14 days (excluding Spoken to's). If you’ve been banned, you must also wait 14 days before requesting a reinstatement. However, if your ban and the incident that led to it were voided, you may apply for reinstatement immediately.))

Consideration

Every reinstatement and prison transfer is handled differently, these are on a case-by-case basis. There are several factors the HR team takes into account when reviewing a reinstatement or prison transfer.

How long you have been away from the job.
Your previous position as a guard.
Your effort when you were previously employed.
Your perceived behavior outside of the department.
(( Your OOC behavior and standing in the ECRP community. ))

What to expect?

You will receive a rank reduction if you have not been employed with the SADOC or another Prison for exactly 16 weeks or more, which will stack up every 16 weeks. (Example -> Last employment was 32 weeks ago, that would be a drop of 2 ranks. If your last employment was 31 weeks ago, it would count as 16 weeks or more, which would only be a drop of 1 rank.) This is just an example of a likely outcome, but there is no guarantee. HR may assign a higher or lower rank based on each specific case.
You will be required to complete the basic training period as a correctional trainee before being assigned your designated rank if you have not been employed with the SADOC or another Prison for 16 weeks or more. Important, reinstatements and prison transfers, do not need to wait 3 days before attending the Academy Part 2 during their training period.
You will be required to complete the Academy Part 1 again as a refresher if you have not been employed with the SADOC or another Prison for 32 weeks or more.
The preliminary offer you receive for reinstatements and prison transfers will still be performance-dependent and the availability of space for that position. At the end of your trainee period, HR Command may hold a discussion to determine the actual rank to which you will be promoted.
HR does not offer reinstatements and prison transfers SIT (Supervisor in Training) or Divisional ranks, we will only focus on your SADOC rank. It will be up to you to reach out to the appropriate party, such as Command for SIT and Divisional Command for Divisions.
Reinstatement and prison transfers do not require to wait for the Friday ceremony to receive a promotion. They can receive their assigned rank immediately after they completed their training. To finalize this process, they must email HR Command to notify them of their completion. If they fail to do so, they will likely be automatically promoted during the Friday ceremonies.

((OOC Information))

All reinstatements are in-character (IC) unless stated otherwise (i.e., you were dishonorably discharged for an out-of-character (OOC) reason). Removals for inactivity are done with the IC reasoning of "Absent Without Official Leave". Any provided information that is OOC has to be placed within double parenthesis.

The Department of Corrections does not accept requests that are entirely OOC.
