Why do you want to join the San Andreas Department of Corrections?
The temptation in the city to do what is bad is severely great. I've seen many friends go down a regretful path of drugs, and gang violence because they felt like they had no hope in doing anything else. When they arrive to prison they are definitely not happy, but when I'm on duty I want them to feel a sense of hope that they can strive to do better. That being a criminal isn't the best route they could take and that there are other options. I strongly believe that it is our duty to discipline them as well as be their example of what a non-criminal life could look like. Being part of the San Andreas Department of Corrections team will give me the opportunity to do so. My mama always told me there's more happiness in giving than receiving - and I want to give to the department and the citizens of San Andreas as much as I can.
How do you handle pressure or stressful situations?
Stress is my middle name. I quickly try to de-escalate the situation before me by analyzing what's going on through body language and emotion. Stressful situations are best handled in a calm, collective manner. Taking it on in amp aggressive way could possibly make the situation even worse.
How much time and energy do you plan on dedicating towards the department in the event you are hired?
I'd like to give 3-4 days a week, couple hours a day. On duty I will give all my heart and soul into this job.
What qualifications or traits do you possess that may be an asset to us (minimum 75 words)?
Some traits that I possess and take pride in are being determined even when going gets tough, an extensive amount of patience, and being able to uphold my integrity. I have always been a determined person, especially when I hit my low points in life. I try to see the positive side of everything and always have my goals written down so I can execute them no matter what. I feel like my level of patience is quite high for an average person. Previously being a medical professional, I was put in situations that carried on for a very long time and I had to be there for the patient constantly. When it comes down to integrity, mama did not raise no fool. I grew up loving the Lord and his principles and I constantly strive to apply them and uphold it as best as I can.
Please provide a short biography about yourself (minimum 100 words):
I was born and raised in New York. I am a 25 year old female with a big attitude filled with love and fun. Since birth I was constantly surrounded by family and a huge support system. I grew up believing that I could do anything I wanted if I put my mind to it. My grandma gave me a boomerang and the day I threw it in the air, it never came back. From that point on I was searching for something that gave me purpose and some hope of a better life. I believe, that if I get hired within the SADOC that I will do my absolute best where ever I am placed. I will work long and hard to learn my duties, be a team player and take part in making the community safer for all. If there is one thing that you should know about me, its the fact that I hate to disappoint others. I strongly believe that if the SADOC gives me a chance I will not disappoint.
Why should we hire you over anyone else (minimum 100 words)?
I have heart. I want this position solely to help others who struggle to help themselves. I personally believe that the qualities I possess, such as being a team player, would add to the SADOC branch. I enjoy receiving orders and excepting them to the best of my ability. I may not have much experience within the law enforcement field but I am ready to learn and give back to my community. I could also whip up a mean batch of chocolate chip cookies.

Dear Applicant,
After further review and consideration, we regret to inform you that you have not made it through this round's recruitment and your application has therefore been archived. The interest shown towards joining San Andreas Department of Corrections these past rounds has as mentioned been increasingly high. With only limited spots to fill, we cannot hire all of our applicants, regretfully.
You are, however, more than welcome to reapply when recruitment opens again next time! We thank you for your patience with this process and ask that you not be discouraged. We had a lot of applications and too few spots to fit everyone. Thank you for the interest that you have shown in our department. We wish you all the best going forward.
Sincerely,
Ren Atkinson
