Officer of the Month June 2026

LOS SANTOS, SA —

The Officer of the Month recognition highlights one member of the Los Santos Police Department each month who has consistently gone above and beyond in the line of duty. Supervisory staff evaluate officer performance department-wide not only by their time on duty, but also by their administrative efforts, quality of work, attitude, teamwork, and adherence to the core values that define the Department. Dedication, outstanding performance, unrivaled professionalism, and an unwavering commitment to protecting and serving the people of Los Santos are just some of the qualities that define these officers.

For June 2026, it is with great honor that we recognize Police Officer I Jonathan Martin for his exceptional performance and dedication to the Department.

Officer Martin first joined the Los Santos Police Department after graduating from Police Academy Class #286 on October 24th, 2025. After entering the Field Training Program as a Police Cadet, he made the difficult decision to step away from the Department. During that time, he continued to develop as a public servant, serving in leadership roles within the Medical Department before becoming a Deputy with the Sheriff's Department. His commitment to public service never wavered, ultimately leading him back home to the Los Santos Police Department through reinstatement on May 8th, 2026.
Lieutenant II Elise Cavellera wrote: Since his promotion on the 29th of May, Officer Martin has gone above and beyond his fellow officers in Mission Row. Through the 26th, he logged more than 112 hours on duty and completed over 110 pieces of paperwork. He is also highly present in the field, consistently volunteering to take on additional tasks and always willing to help wherever he is needed.
His return has been nothing short of remarkable. Completing the Field Training Program in just a matter of weeks, Officer Martin earned his promotion to Police Officer I on May 29th, 2026, and was assigned to the Mission Row Patrol Division. Since then, he has established himself as one of the Division's most dependable officers through his exceptional work ethic, willingness to take initiative, and unwavering commitment to serving both the Department and the community.
Captain Jamie Lockwood wrote:Officer Jonathan Martin joined Mission Row Patrol Division just over a month ago. In that month he has shown his dedication with hard work and by being an outstanding team player. His good spirits and helpful attitude is a pleasure to be around and is greatly valued by both Mission row and the department. I have no doubt he can do go where ever he puts his mind to.
Whether responding to calls for service, volunteering for additional responsibilities, or producing an outstanding volume of high-quality administrative work, Officer Martin consistently exceeds expectations. His professionalism, resilience, and positive attitude have earned the respect of his peers and supervisors alike, making him a standout performer despite his relatively short time back with the Department.
Sergeant I David Loan wrote: Officer Jonathan Martin's journey is a story of true resilience, and I couldn't be more proud of him.

He stepped away from the Cadet Program, grew as a supervisor within the Medical Department and later as a Deputy with the Sheriff's Department, before returning to thrive as a Police Officer I. Earning Officer of the Month through his rock-solid consistency and precise paperwork is incredibly well deserved.

I am proud to be his Assistant Commanding Officer as he joins the Firearms Licensing Division, and I look forward to watching his career continue to flourish.
Officer Martin's resilience, professionalism, and dedication to excellence have made an immediate impact on the Department. His story is one of perseverance, personal growth, and an unwavering commitment to public service. The Los Santos Police Department proudly congratulates Police Officer I Jonathan Martin on being named Officer of the Month for June 2026 and looks forward to watching his continued success throughout his career.
