LOS SANTOS, SA —

Despite earlier concerns regarding safety and staffing commitments, the Los Santos Police Department is pleased to confirm that the previously announced Walk-In Interviews and Academy will now be taking place as originally scheduled.

Following the a U-Turn of the scheduling for the FIFA World Cup Round of 16 fixture between Mexico and England earlier in the day, sufficient resources are now available to ensure both public safety across the city and the safe operation of the recruitment event.

As a result, the Los Santos Police Department Recruitment Open Day will proceed Sunday, 5th July, at 6:30pm UTC, at Mission Row Police Station.

Assistant Chief Dezzy Bala wrote:We're pleased to confirm that our Recruitment Event will now be going ahead as originally planned this evening at Mission Row Police Station.

Following close coordination with our partners and the conclusion of the earlier sporting fixture, we're confident we have the personnel and resources required to safely host the event while continuing to provide the level of service the people of Los Santos expect.

Whether you're considering a career in law enforcement, looking to learn more about the department, or simply want to meet the officers serving your community, we encourage everyone to come along. We look forward to welcoming you this evening and, thankfully, I won't have to apologise for cancelling it twice.
