San Andreas Judicial Branch Discovery Timeline Changes "EQUAL JUSTICE UNDER LAW"

• Citizens of San Andreas,
  
  The San Andreas Judicial Branch has implemented discovery timeline changes, which will go into effect immediately for all future cases. Any cases submitted before this press release will not be subject to the new rules for discovery.
  
  Key Changes
  • The standard discovery period afforded to the prosecution has been reduced from 30 days to 15 days.
  • The prosecution will generally be limited to one continuance of up to seven days for discovery-related matters. Additional continuances will only be granted in extenuating circumstances, such as an approved leave of absence or other unforeseen circumstances beyond the party's control ((OOC Reasons)).
  The Judicial Branch believes these changes will help ensure cases move through the courts more efficiently while maintaining fairness to all parties involved. We will continue to evaluate court procedures and make adjustments where necessary to promote the timely administration of justice.
