My name is Mike Costigan, and I was born and raised in Los Santos. Growing up in a rough neighborhood taught me the importance of discipline, responsibility, and respect for the law. I have always admired people who dedicate their lives to public service and maintaining order within the community. Over the years, I developed strong communication and conflict resolution skills through different jobs and personal experiences. I work well under pressure, remain calm in difficult situations, and always try to act professionally. I believe in treating everyone fairly regardless of their background. My goal is to build a stable career where I can contribute positively to society while continuing to improve myself both personally and professionally.

I want to join the San Andreas Department of Corrections because I believe maintaining safety and discipline inside correctional facilities is an important responsibility. I am interested in helping create a secure environment for both staff and inmates while encouraging professionalism and respect. You should hire me because I am mature, patient, and capable of handling stressful situations without losing control. I am willing to learn from experienced officers, follow procedures carefully, and work as part of a team. I am committed to representing the department with integrity and professionalism at all times.

2.3 If you are an ex-felon, what have you learned and changed about yourself since being charged with a felony or misdemeanor (minimum 50 words)?
In the past, I made several poor decisions that resulted in misdemeanor charges related to reckless driving, stolen property, vehicle registration fraud, and grand theft. Those experiences taught me the importance of accountability, discipline, and respecting the law. Since then, I have worked hard to improve myself by avoiding criminal activity, surrounding myself with better influences, and focusing on building a stable and professional future. I understand that trust must be earned through actions, and I am committed to proving that I have changed and can serve responsibly within the Department of Corrections.

Yes, I previously worked at Los Santos Customs as a mechanic. My responsibilities included repairing and maintaining customer vehicles, diagnosing mechanical problems, and providing professional service to clients. The job helped me develop teamwork, communication, patience, and problem-solving skills while working in a fast-paced environment. I also learned the importance of responsibility, attention to detail, and maintaining professionalism during stressful situations.

Yes, I previously received a FearRP punishment. I understood the mistake after speaking with the administration team and learned the importance of properly valuing my character’s life during roleplay situations. Since then, I have improved my roleplay standards, paid closer attention to server rules, and avoided repeating the same mistake. I have not received any faction bans.
