MOTION FOR DISCOVERY

IN THE SUPERIOR COURT OF SAN ANDREAS

State of San Andreas v. Lilliana Hirano
#26-BT-0051

A Motion for Discovery was filed in the above case on the 18th day of June, 2026.

The State of San Andreas, by and through the undersigned attorney, filed this Motion for Discovery, and presents the following as evidence;

  • Exhibit #1 Arrest report

    Los Santos Police Department

    ARREST REPORT
    "TO PROTECT AND TO SERVE"

    • ARREST DETAILS
      • Arresting Officer: Laurant Conrad
        Callsign: 21-S-10

        Date of Arrest: 15/MAY/2026
        Officers Involved:
        • Police Sergeant I Laurant Conrad
Narrative: Explain what happened in detail, provide sufficient detail to justify the charges. Video and image evidence can be provided. Specifically state why each charge listed was placed.
Earlier in the day a hostage situation took place when Becks Hirano took an Officer hostage by knifepoint at Mission Row. Becks Hirano then called for a getaway driver where a masked driver arrived in an LC who taunted police on scene and made threats before evading with Becks Hirano.

The car was seen with the same driver several times throughout the city attempting to engage officers in a pursuit. As officers were otherwise occupied a warrant was placed for Becks Hirano.

A short while later, Becks Hirano was seen in the same LC without a passenger and another pursuit began which led to Becks Hirano being spiked and calling for assistance. Lilliana Hirano arrived on scene in a gargoyle wearing the same clothing and mask as the driver from the hostage situation and attempted to pick up Becks Hirano as Becks Hirano ran towards her gargoyle before getting tased. Lilliana Hirano was also tased and taken into custody for questioning.

Upon questioning Lilliana Hirano it was determined that they had not changed clothes from the previous hostage situation including mask, that their voice matched the masked driver from the hostage situation, and that Lilliano Hirano and Becks Hirano were actively on the same frequency on their radios collaborating for a getaway pickup which is why Lilliana Hirano arrived to the scene on the gargoyle.

Lilliana Hirano was read their rights, arrested and charged with GM14 and VF01 before being taken to DOC.

    • I do not have much more to add on top of the the arrest report as I took great lengths to make it as complete as possible.

The footage would be stored in the database for the LSPD ((I can provide rp proof of the bodycam but no longer have physical footage as its been a month, can rp it however if that works for you.

Bill Breacher was also the negotiator on scene with both Becks Hirano and Liliana Hirano if you wanted to inquire more as well from him too.

I do not have a mugshot of the suspect at this time as she was quickly arrested on the scene and transported by another unit to get her away from the area she was interfering in however I do recall she was wearing her typical yellow outfit with mask that matched that of Becks Hirano at the time of her arrest.

        Evidence Description and/or Photo
        Exhibit A: Image
Evidence Location: Mission Row Station Vinewood Police Headquarters Department of Corrections
    Image
    • Detailed Reasoning:

The defence requests that the highlighted portions be suppressed from evidence:

The portion highlighted in red is demonstrably false.
The La Carouse did not evade law enforcement. Rather, it was granted free passage alongside the suspect, Becks Hirano, in exchange for the safe release of the hostages. The evidence will show that once free passage was granted, law enforcement ceased any attempt to pursue the vehicle. Under the Penal Code, evasion requires a person to willfully elude a pursuing law enforcement officer. Where officers have expressly authorized a vehicle's departure and made no effort to pursue it thereafter, it cannot reasonably be argued that the occupants were evading pursuing law enforcement.

The portion highlighted in purple is demonstrably false.
The evidence will show that any subsequent sightings of the La Carouse did not involve the same driver who was present during the initial hostage incident. Following the grant of free passage, the vehicle was promptly returned to Becks Hirano. The officer's assertion appears to be based on speculation that the same individuals remained in the vehicle during the later sighting, despite the officer not personally observing that encounter.

The portions highlighted in yellow are demonstrably false.
Becks Hirano has confirmed to the defense that the individual driving the La Carouse during the pickup was not wearing the same clothing as the defendant, Lilliana Hirano, at the time of her arrest. This directly contradicts the officer's identification and undermines the conclusion that the defendant was the driver involved in the earlier incident.

The portions highlighted in green are speculative and unsupported by evidence.
The arresting officer is attempting to infer the defendant's intent without any factual basis for doing so. The evidence will show that, at the time of her arrest, the defendant was actively driving away from Becks Hirano rather than toward them. As such, there is no evidentiary basis for the claim that she was attempting to "pick up" a suspect fleeing on foot, even if that suspect happened to be running in her general direction. Furthermore, there is no evidence whatsoever to support the assertion that any such pickup was coordinated over a radio frequency. The officer appears to have reached this conclusion solely because the defendant shared a radio channel with Becks Hirano. It is entirely commonplace for married individuals to share radio frequencies, and that fact alone does not establish participation in, knowledge of, or facilitation of another person's criminal conduct.

The portion highlighted in blue is inherently subjective.
Absent supporting evidence or expert testimony, there is no reliable basis upon which to conclude that the voices matched to the degree necessary for a positive identification. It is equally plausible that the officer heard two distinct voices and subjectively determined that they sounded similar. While the officer may genuinely believe the voices were alike, it is a substantial leap to characterize them as a definitive "match." This is especially true given that, by the officer's own account, the original speaker was communicating from within a vehicle, a circumstance that could reasonably have distorted or affected the perceived sound of the driver's voice.

  • Detailed Reasoning:
The defense requests the following be suppressed.

The portion highlighted in blue is speculative, there is no evidence that proves the driver of the La Carouse being the defendant at the time of the hostage taking beyond the officer speculating that they were one and the same person. As such the unidentified driver should not be referred to as the defendant by name until proven otherwise.
