Illegal Shipment Intercepted
LOS SANTOS, SA —
Earlier this week, the Los Santos Police Department, in collaboration Los Santos Sheriff’s Department, successfully intercepted an illegal weapons shipment. Acting on coordinated intelligence, the illegal shipment was recovered in the northern part of the state thanks to the detectives within both Gang and Narcotics Divisions.
The recovered items include:
The total estimated value of the seized weapons and equipment is approximately $400,000.
This seizure represents a substantial disruption to illegal weapon distribution networks and reinforces ongoing policing efforts to reduce gun violence across the state San Andreas.
“The success of this operation is a direct result of incredible teamwork,” Administrator II Ally Jean stated “We are grateful for the continued collaboration and strong relationship with the Los Santos Sheriff’s Department. Inter-agency Partnerships like the one we share with the LSSD are crucial for keeping our communities safe and protecting our great state.”
“It was pretty obvious, to be honest,” said Deputy Sheriff Bonus I Christopher Miles, who found the bulk of the shipment hiding in a bush nearby. “I knew right away it wouldn’t be protected properly, so there was no point wasting time on the usual spots. I went straight to where it actually made sense, the kind of places people miss when they’re just going through the motions. Found it pretty quickly after that. Once you’ve been doing this long enough, you don’t really search, you just go pick it up. At that point it’s just instinct and execution, the rest kind of takes care of itself. Doesn’t hurt that I make it look good while I’m at it.”
The investigation into the origin and intended recipients of the weapons remains ongoing.
The recovered items include:
- 10 Special Carbines
- 2,000 rounds of 5.56 ammunition
- 10 Large Scopes
- 10 Extended Magazines
- 10 Weapon Grips
