Live Streamer Arrested
LOS SANTOS, SA —
The Los Santos Police Department has taken a suspect into custody following a high-risk operation stemming from a viral live-stream of illegal activity.
Earlier today, an individual identified as Anakin Ting went live on a public streaming platform, attracting the biggest audience the platform has ever seen. Ting was openly displaying what appeared to be a large cache illegal contraband stored inside of a well designed custom built stash house that he allegedly built himself. The live broadcast went viral, prompting immediate attention from the LSPD.
Using investigative resources and real-time intelligence, officers were able to determine the suspect’s exact location. A search warrant was issued, and Metropolitan Division SWAT was deployed to execute the operation in coordination with the Major Crimes Division, and Gangs and Narcotics Division.
Following an hour long standoff, negotiations and tactical positioning, SWAT officers and detectives conducted a controlled breach of the custom built stash house. The suspect was safely taken into custody without further incident.
The investigation remains ongoing, and charges are pending.
