Police Training Appointment and Promotion

LOS SANTOS, SA —
The Los Santos Police Department (LSPD) is pleased to announce that George Hill has been selected as the new Commanding Officer of the Police Training Bureau and additionally, has been promoted to the position of Police Commander.

Commander Hill fills the position that was vacated by Deputy Chief Jessica Nash, who served in the position for just over a year before being re-assigned by the Chief of Police to the Administrative Services Bureau. Commander Hill has been the Commanding Officer of our Field Training Program for quite some time, but will now be vacating that position and appointing a new Commanding Officer for FTD in the coming days and weeks.

The Police Training Bureau consists of three divisions.
  • The Field Training Division, which covers the training of all our Police Cadets upon the completion of their Academies.
  • The Basic Training Division, which schedules and runs our Academies.
  • Additionally, the Advanced Training Division which handles the training of our Police Officers for various different areas of policing.
Commander Hill will undergo a period of review for suitability, while he acclimatises to his new role overseeing all three divisions before being considered for a place on our Staff Officers team in the long term.
Assistant Chief Dezzy Bala wrote:I'm pleased to announce George as our new Police Training Bureau Commanding Officer. He has been an excellent, front of the queue performer within the Los Santos Police Department for quite some time now and his appointment only improves what is already an excellent and well-rounded group of talented and hard-working individuals that are our leadership teams.

Given his extensive background in not only the Field Training Division but also, his contributions to the Recruitment and Employment Division, he was the standout candidate for this role. George is a well-liked and well-respected individual, with an excellent understanding for what is needed for the LSPD in 2026.
At the next opportunity you see Commander Hill, be sure to congratulate him on his new role and position.
