LOS SANTOS, SA —

A routine traffic stop for reckless driving escalated into a multi-unit response, resulting in an arrest and the seizure of illegal contraband, according to the Gangs and Narcotics Division.

Officers initially attempted to stop a motorcycle traveling at dangerous speeds when a second vehicle rammed a detective unit and fled the scene. Responding units, supported by air support, pursued the suspect to a residence on Grove Street, where they were seen entering.

Moments later, the suspect exited the residence wearing different clothing in an apparent attempt to avoid identification. Officers detained the individual without incident. Based on the circumstances, a search of the property was conducted. During the search, GND Detectives located the suspect’s original clothing. All contraband was seized as evidence.

The raid resulted in the seizure of large quantities of drug paraphernalia and chemicals, firearms, ammunition, modifications, and large quantities of packed money. Detectives estimated the contraband confiscated to be approximately $1,148,935.
