Expanding the Fleet
The Los Santos Emergency Medical Services have always had staple vehicles, instantly recognisable to you, the public and our sister departments, as the backbone to our service to Los Santos, such as our ambulances, firetrucks and even our bright red aircraft!While reliable, there hasn't been much change to our fleet since the start of our glorious service all those years ago. The start of April saw the introduction of new and updated vehicles to use, this mini-spotlight will showcase what we've got!
🧬 Forensics Van

To aid with one of our ever-developing divisions under Special Operations, Forensics, we have a new, liveried van that has been designed and rolled out to us. This will enable our field forensics teams to not only carry out their missions more easily with access to all the equipment they need, it also enables them to create in-field command points to properly manage mass-casualty events. Not deployed on the best of days, but having it available will enable efficient and accurate evidence collecting to help victims and the justice system prevail. |
🏔️ Mountain Rescue Terminus
| Not a new vehicle to the motorpool, but an updated one! After a long and plain life in the garage, our Terminus units have been finely painted with the Mountain Rescue livery to cement their place within the division and the department. Our specialised mountain units are off-road vehicles that balance speed with off-road capability. Allowing our Mountain Operators to navigate tricky terrain in order reach patients wherever they may be! |  |
🚑 Ambulance

Our old faithful. The ambulance! The core of what we do at LSEMS revolves around these machines; they have life-saving equipment on board and powerful engines, meaning that regardless of the weather, time of day or terrain, we can get to you. Now it may be hard to improve on perfection, but we've done it! The design team have finally added some much overdue upgrades for both us, the EMTs, and our patients. |
New Ambulance Interior

GONE is the 'box-back' ambulance. We've finally got some space to move around! The all new, sanitised seating provides much better comfort, and cushions the sometimes bumpy journey to the hospital! There are now windows, which are tinted from the outside to provide privacy for those in treatment, but are clear from the inside, allowing our patients to see outside, and not feel boxed in! Our designers have not only made it look better, but it also feels better than ever before! |
🔥 Fire Inspection Caracara

The Caracara has been added to the motorpool, too! We've had one for the forensics team before; however, this one has a fresh coat of paint and is restocked with all that's needed to conduct fire inspection for those certified under the Fire & Rescue division! Having this vehicle in the fleet allows our expert fire subject matter experts to deliver our services across the state, keeping businesses and residences safe from fiery risks, keeping everything up to code with all they need in the bed of their trucks! |
