MOTION FOR DISCOVERY
IN THE SUPERIOR COURT OF SAN ANDREAS
State of San Andreas v. Richard Forth
#26-BT-0010
A Motion for Discovery was filed in the above case on the 22nd day of February, 2026.
The State of San Andreas, by and through the undersigned attorney, filed this Motion for Discovery, and presents the following as evidence;
San Andreas Judicial Branch
Official Witness Statement
"HERE FOR YOU | SAFE FOR YOU"
Case Information
- Incident Date: 21/JAN/2026
Witness Information
- Name: Guilherme Tavares
Date of Birth: 08/DEC/1998
Phone Number: 328-1508
Occupation: Police Officer III, Los Santos Police Department
Witness Statement
- On the 21st of January 2026, a Bank Robbery was perpetrated on Legion Square by over 20 individuals, that allegedly were holding someone hostage.
The suspects all parked their vehicles outside, with their license plates being collected by myself and posted as BOLOs. ((This can be confirmed by logs.))
As the situation dragged on for around an hour, with elements of the LSPD and LSSD being on scene, and negotiations not coming to a prompt conclusion, it was ultimately decided that the suspects would leave and LSPD/LSSD units would attempt to disable or pursue the vehicles leaving as possible.
As I was tasked with deploying stingers by the Supervisor, Police Lieutenant Jamie Lockwood, I stayed just around the corner.
As soon as the scene was clear of suspects leaving, I went into the bank as an investigative unit and conducted fingerprint analysis on multiple objects left on scene.
Among the items checked was a GPS dropped in the lobby of the Bank. The prints of Richard Forth were found on a GPS.
The Bank's CCTV was checked, to confirm that the person that had dropped the GPS and left the prints on it had been a suspect, due to the alleged hostages present (it was suspected also that the hostages were fake, due to them being affiliated with a known criminal organisation and those affiliated also with the same organisation running INTO the bank while negotiations were ongoing).
According to Sergeant Beta, the suspect's vehicle was also found outside previously and his name had been mentioned.
The recommendation was to charge the suspect. All suspects (over 20) had masks on.
My body-camera was running throughout the entire situation. ((Only RP, no actual recording of game-play.))
Witness Affirmation
- I, Guilherme Tavares, affirm that the above statement is true to the best of my knowledge and belief. I affirm that this statement has been made voluntarily, made without promise of reward, and made not under threat, force, or coercion. ((I affirm that all information submitted has been obtained via In-Character means.))
Signed,

Guilherme Tavares

Case Information
- Incident Date: 21/JAN/2026
Witness Information
- Name: Aiden Beta
Date of Birth: 01/DEC/2000
Phone Number: 2493121
Occupation: Police Sergeant II, Los Santos Police Department
Witness Statement
- Richard Forth's prints were found on a GPS inside Legion bank with arround 25 suspects, most of which had escaped. I believe that a unit on scene had called out that a vehicle with the RO Richard Forth was on scene, and was used to escape. I am unsure who called this out, and what type of vehicle it was. Given the circumstanses of his prints being on a GPS inside the bank, during the robbery along with the fact that his vehicle was called out to be on scene, I authorized Tavares to charge Richard. The GPS was also left there during the robbery and not before.
Witness Affirmation
- I, Aiden Beta, affirm that the above statement is true to the best of my knowledge and belief. I affirm that this statement has been made voluntarily, made without promise of reward, and made not under threat, force, or coercion. ((I affirm that all information submitted has been obtained via In-Character means.))
Signed,
Aiden Beta

ISSUANCE OF VERDICT
IN THE SUPERIOR COURT OF SAN ANDREAS
The State of San Andreas v. Richard Forth
#26-BT-0010
A decision was reached in the above case on the 16th day of April, 2026.
Facts
- Legion Square bank was robbed on the 21st of January 2026
- The defendants fingerprints were on the GPS
- CCTV shows a bank robber dropped the GPS on the ground of the bank
Arguments From Either Side
Prosecution argues that the defendants finger prints were on the GPS and that an participant in the robbery was seen dropping the GPS at the scene. They argue that the defense has provided no reasonable explanation for why this was placed on the scene. Prosecution also mentioned that the defendants vehicle was believe to have been on scene.
Defense argues that there is no proof provided to show the defendants vehicle was on scene. They also argue that the GPS could've been handled by an individual with glove, as the CCTV does not definitely show whether or not its handler was in possession of gloves or not.
Verdict
The court finds that the defendants prints were left on a GPS at the scene of the robbery. However the court also finds that the defendants vehicle was not found at the scene. The prosecution provided evidence to suggest it was on scene, but nothing provided to the courts has been persuasive enough to allow for the courts to determine it as fact.
That being said, fingerprints are direct evidence that an individual came into contact with an item at some point in time. However, they do not, on their own, establish when that contact occurred or under what circumstances. The Court cannot reasonably conclude that the defendant handled the GPS during the commission of the robbery, as opposed to at some prior, unrelated time.
Without additional evidence placing the defendant at the scene during the robbery, such as identification on CCTV, corroborating witness testimony, or other direct linkage, the Court finds that the presence of fingerprints alone is insufficient to overcome reasonable doubt.
It is with the above considerations that I issue the following verdict:
- On the count of GM19 - Face Concealment (b), I find the defendant, Richard Forth, not guilty.
- On the count of SF07 - Bank Robbery, I find the defendant, Richard Forth, not guilty.
- On the count of NM03 - Unlawful Assembly, I find the defendant, Richard Forth, not guilty.
The defendant should make their way to City Hall at their earliest convenience to have the change to their record noted as well as the payment of $30,500 returned to them for fines, time, and other expenses/inconveniences incurred from the contested charges.
So Ordered,
