After months of extensive and coordinated investigation, last night marked a decisive breakthrough as former Governor Lewis Langley was successfully captured and extradited to a maximum security prison out of state, bringing a long and complex case to a close.
We extend our sincere gratitude to the LSPD Detectives who managed the case, with the support of METRO and uniformed officers. We further wish to thank the Department of Corrections and the Government Security Bureau, whose professionalism, persistence, and cooperation ensured Langley was securely detained and transported swiftly via a National Guard airlift. Under Governor Whitehorse’s leadership, we are working tirelessly to confront the wrongs of the past and are actively committed to doing what is best for the State of San Andreas, leaving no stone unturned in that mission.

Langley now faces 15 separate charges stemming from four different investigations. This outcome sends a clear message that nobody in this state is untouchable. Let this stand as a warning to those who seek to divide us: your efforts will not succeed, and justice will continue to prevail.Emily Whitehorse wrote: Yesterday evening, the culmination of a months-long investigation led to a large-scale police operation taking place that led to the arrest and detainment of Lewis Langley. The professionalism shown by the Los Santos Police Department detectives conducting this investigation was shown throughout my interactions with them, and I thank them for their diligence. Further support provided by METRO and uniformed officers ensured no external threats disrupted any events.
I'd also like to take a moment to thank the other departments that assisted the Government. The Department of Corrections is recognised for assisting us in securing the prison as part of a joint operation between SADOC and SASG GSB. While no major incident took place, they coordinated with our agents with mutual respect. Special thanks to CERT Command for working directly with us. I'd also like to thank the assistance and cooperation shown by the Los Santos Emergency Medical Service, standing by if anyone was injured.
Finally, I want to recognise the efforts of the Government Security Bureau for planning an extensive operation and communications plan that was executed flawlessly, which facilitated safe custody of the individual while also preparing for the transfer to a out of state prison. This operation was prepared on short notice, but Operations Command was resolute in executing the mission.
Justice, while slow, always prevails. I suspect further questions will arise from the San Andreas community. I encourage anyone looking for details to reach out through established communications channels.

God Bless San Andreas
