Roleplay Feedback
1. What's your player name? Gary Bruce
2. Do you know any names of LSSD members involved in your situation? 27662
3. When did this situation occur? 31/Dec/2025 - 1430
6. Can you provide an accurate description of the events that unfolded? (add any footage you may have to back any claims up)
There were police cars stopped in the road and some kind of chase happening. I stopped my car, got out, ran over to see what was happening. I then got arrested by an officer who just decided I was one of the people they were looking for.
7. What would you have done differently from both the perspective of SD and your own?
If the officer had listened to what i was saying I could prove what I was saying was true because my car was parked there, and another officer there saw the whole thing, with me arriving on my own and just me running around the vehicle and climbing on it.
Instead of this, they didn't listen, and just wanted to arrest someone for the crime. The entire situation is unrealistic. In real life the officer would have at least asked me some questions. or listened, and would need some kind of evidence that I was one of the criminals they were looking for. Instead it is just "I'm not bothering to investigate, you are convicted because I decided so".

To me it seems like lazy RP and is always the same few officers who do this behaviour. They seem to like chasing people, but once that is over, they want to put someone into DOC as fast as possible with the minimal amount of effort and RP, and that you might be innocent is just an inconvenience to their own fun because they want to get back out chasing people again (Many of these officers don't even bother to use the proper road to get into and out of DOC and just drive off the highway down the embankment ), and their excuse is "Well if I have it wrong, you can file an IA report", "It's only a 20 minute sentence so no big deal" which is the wrong answer. IA reports do nothing for the person who has their game time wasted because the officer is too lazy to roleplay being a police officer, and that it is only 20 minutes is not a valid excuse. If you attempt to argue or not comply they will then just increase the charges. Some of these officers cannot even be bothered to do the proper processes at DOC, and will do "/me hands over the suspect to DOC staff who process the suspect", and you are instantly transported from the reception area into your cell.
This kind of behaviour I think is also partly to blame as to why some criminals don't comply and stop roleplaying properly during an arrest and begin behaving in unrealistic ways, because they are frustrated by the lazy RP of the officers.
8. What are you hoping to accomplish by sending this feedback to us?
To see improvements in the investigation element of the police and stop this lazy robotic "I just want to chase people and have shootouts - and everything outside of that is an inconvenience that I will try speedrun through" style roleplaying that some of them do.
I am putting this as a complaint rather than IA report because this is not limited to one officer but something I notice a small number engage in repeatedly.
