Roleplay Feedback
1. What's your player name? Kai Jaxon
2. Do you know any names of LSSD members involved in your situation? I wish I knew everyone, but sadly I only caught the name of Leif.
3. When did this situation occur? 26/SEP/2025 - between 23:00 UTC and 01:00
4. Can you list down at least three good or bad things from our side in this situation?
- Great roleplaying! SD members showed proper fear for a hostage's life even while keeping things lighthearted.
- Willing to compromise and negotiate. In a proper hostage negotiation there has to be a give and take, and even though SD knew they had us outgunned and outmanned, they created a great experience for us all by letting us give demands, then negotiating those demands until we found a compromise.
- Felt so refreshing that there was no "win mentality". SD showed twice that they'd rather have a fun experience that led to a hostage negotiation and two pursuits, than just gunning us down immediately. Even after most of us had gotten away, as I returned to the scene and took another SD member hostage, they still played along and made the situation more fun for both parts.
- We had to think fast to get out of the bank situation we were in, and I feel like we did a pretty good job in creating a good experience for both parties by taking a hostage.
- I myself played along when the SD members started mocking me for making a mistake, I didn't take it to heart, I just acted like I had fucked up and that I was very nervous and on edge throughout.
- I immediately gave up once I knew I had lost and didn't make the processing portion of the RP Scenario tedious.
We decided to hit a bank late last night, and happened to be so unlucky that an SD pursuit drove past just as the alarm of the bank went off. Thinking on my feet I decided to take a member of my own gang hostage, hoping to delay the SD members from entering the bank, or even find a way out. This is when SD made the crucial decision of not just busting in guns blazing but instead took the hostage situation serious (even though they definitely knew it was a fake hostage). They then brought in the negotiator and we had a long back and forth where we both had to compromise. It was such a fun interaction all together, we felt like we were taken serious for once and SD facilitated a great environment with some lighthearted banter in between. Once we all got out of the bank, SD could've easily shot us all down as we had no real shielding except our 1 hostage who couldn't block for all of us. But SD kept their word and let us get on our bikes before they started chasing us. I got away and decided to go back to try to save our fake hostage. This is when the second scenario happened that SD again made into such a great and fun experience for me. I managed to sneak up on the SD member who was talking to the fake hostage, I then took the SD member hostage and allowed our fake hostage to get away. This is when another negotiation happened, and I was again given the liberty to ask for demands, even though I was surrounded and shooting me would've been within server rules, they played along and even gave me access to an SD cruiser to escape in. I have nothing but praise for all of the participants from SD's side, I could go on and on about every detail they did to make this a great and fun experience, but I think the footage speaks for itself (start at 06:24:00):
7. What would you have done differently from both the perspective of SD and your own?
Honestly nothing. This was perfect in my view! Even though me and a few om my gang members got caught, and one has a warrant, we all still feel like this was a perfect balance between seriousness and lighthearted RP fun!
8. What are you hoping to accomplish by sending this feedback to us?
I just wanted to shout out all the members of SD who participated, big respect to each and every one of them who could've ended this scenario in so many different ways and technically be "within server rules". But instead decided to play it out and create a fun and cool atmosphere and experience for both parties.
