I was born in Tijuana, Mexico, to a Spanish-immigrant family. Growing up in the tough neighborhood on the border wasn't easy, that's for sure. My entire life, I've been suspended between two worlds crime and law. My father always pushed me toward something better, but my two brothers went two very different ways: one stayed clean, and the other got into crime.
After I turned 18 years of age, my family moved across the border to San Diego, California, on my father's work visa. I dedicated myself to studying, graduated in Criminal Justice, and later acquired my U.S. citizenship. I then worked for several years as a security guard, which gave me a lot of exposure and firsthand acquaintance with street life and security operations.
Outside of work, I’ve always been passionate about boxing and enjoy spending my free time reading crime novels. Now, at the age of 30, I’ve moved to the city of San Andreas to start fresh and build a better future for myself away from the shadows of my past and ready for new opportunities and challenges.

2.2 Why do you want to join the San Andreas Department of Corrections, and why should we hire you over other applicants? (minimum 75 words)
To this day, joining the San Andreas Department of Corrections has been a goal of mine. My passion for law enforcement as well as serving the community has made this work fulfilling. I have a degree in Criminal Justice as well as years of work as a security guard, which has helped me improve on many skills such as conflict resolution and security matters. I also know how to maintain my cool when under pressure, especially in situations which tend to get a bit disorderly.

My strongest asset is my ability to understand both sides of the law. This enables me to interact with inmates in a just and constructive manner.
