Los Santos: On August 10th, 2025, a detective assigned to the LSPD's Gang and Narcotics Division, Detective Dean Molloy, collaboratively with the Los Santos County Sheriff’s Department’s Gang and Narcotics Division, executed a raid on crucial stash disrupting illegal operations for the notorious gang known as “The Empire.”
Working collaboratively on the case together, investigators of both LSPD and LSSD conducted weeks of surveillance operations at the potential raid location, gathering important evidence and tracking the organization's movements to better understand their illegal operation. This, in turn, resulted in enough evidence to secure a search warrant initiating the raid with the support of the LSPD METRO SWAT team.
Once inside, the team discovered mass stockpiles of illegal contraband, including ammunition, body armor, illegal drugs, illegal weapons, and attachments, all of which are believed to be part of The Empire's illegal distribution network.

This raid marks a massive blow to the Empire's illegal operations, dismantling one of its critical supply chains. The total estimated street value of the seized illegal contraband off the streets is in the millions.
The Los Santos Police Department is committed to identifying and dismantling all illegal networks that endanger public safety. We urge the citizens of Los Santos to stay vigilant and to contact our Tip Line if they witness suspicious or illegal activity. Together, we can make the City of Los Santos a better, safer place.

Detective I Dean Molloy wrote: The Los Santos Police Department’s Gang and Narcotics Division, in collaboration with the Sheriff’s Department’s anti-gang division, continues to work tirelessly in the war against gang-related crime.
In response to the growing number of gangs operating on our streets, we have implemented a strategy aimed at disrupting these criminal networks by removing the firearms used in violent offences.
Recent operations conducted over the past several weeks are a testament to the dedication, extensive surveillance efforts, and meticulous investigative work undertaken by our officers to secure the necessary warrants and carry out these enforcement actions.
