  Look… we’re not gonna lie. That’s a respectable amount. It's just not... life-changing. It's the kind of money that gets a kid *stable-ish*.   We regret to inform you that our founder and Chief Field Rescuer, David Deltoid, has embarked on a classified 7-day humanitarian expedition to the South Side of Chicago in a final attempt to locate your sponsored child: Jaquavious “Baldie” Williams a brave 9-year-old currently fighting three separate diseases, one court case, and a gambling addiction (he’s up 600 on DraftKings, so hope is not lost).
  
  Initially, we sent in our usual bounty hunters, including:
  
  • Tyrone “Night Vision” MacGregor (retired after the raccoon incident),
  • Sister Agnes of the Holy Smackdown (currently excommunicated for tax fraud),
  • and Dave the Intern (missing since Thursday).
  None have returned.
  
  This is why Mr. Deltoid - armed with nothing but a protein bar, a Bluetooth headset, and an inspirational quote from Vin Diesel, has gone himself. This is the first time since the Great Inflatable Kayak Incident of 2019 that he’s entered a red zone in person.
  
  Current Challenges in Locating Jaquavious:
  
  • He has changed his legal name 4 times since April.
  • He last appeared in a TikTok live entitled “Baldie Beats Leukemia ft. Glock 9.
  • He’s been spotted doing wheelies on a stolen Rascal scooter outside a Dollar General.
  • Every known address led to either a trap house or a Spirit Halloween pop-up.
  Medical Status:
  Jaquavious continues to bravely fight AIDS, Asthma, Ringworm, and Whatever Is Happening To His Left Eye. He was scheduled for chemo yesterday, but instead appeared in court dressed as Sonic the Hedgehog. The judge called it “deeply unserious.”
  
  We are not giving up.
  
  David is currently sheltering with a friendly woman named Miss Cheryl, who has six chihuahuas and a taser. She believes she saw Jaquavious ride past on a Lime scooter yelling, “I’m untouchable, I got sponsors!”

  After seven harrowing days in the field, our founder David Deltoid made visual contact with Jaquavious outside a Popeyes, where he was reportedly trading chemo medication for V-Bucks. The situation escalated rapidly when Jaquavious spotted our team and attempted escape on foot.
  
  Enter: the BKWCAA helicopter.
  
  Thanks to your generous donation, and a forged government fuel voucher. we deployed our stealth-capable, semi-legal Black Kid Welfare & Covert Abduction Association chopper, affectionately nicknamed “The Grabber.” It features:
  
  • In-built Tranquillizers
  • Watermelon decoys for crowd control

  We located Baldie using infrared heat signatures, but confusion arose as he was radiating high levels of chemo energy and holding a Popeyes 3-piece combo. After some tense negotiations (“David Deltoid will never catch me!”), David launched Protocol 9: a Nerf dart laced with melatonin.
