1. PROGRAM INFORMATION
- The Traffic Safety Program is a roughly 30-minute crash course in traffic safety and traffic laws. The program covers several areas, such as How to Ensure Your Vehicle is Roadworthy, Vehicular Misdemeanours & Citations, Traffic Collision 101, Street Racing - How to do it Legally, and General City Safety. An Instructor from the LSPD Traffic Enforcement Division will host the program and ensure each participant has a chance to ask questions and follow ups.
The Los Santos Police Department offers any participant who completes the program a reduction of 2 demerit points from their driver's license. Any registered civilian within the state of Los Santos may participate in the Traffic Safety Program once a month and receive a deduction again.
NOTE: If you are not actively participating and/or disrupting the program, you may be asked to leave, or be banned from future participation in the Traffic Safety Program.
2. REQUIREMENTS
- Each event will require a dedicated Instructor, who will be responsible for the scheduling of the program. The Instructor will reach out to you if you have an approved Sign-up sheet and see if you will be available for the scheduled time. If you are unavailable for 3 consecutive scheduled programs, your sign-up sheet will be archived, and you will have to reapply to participate.
For the sign-up sheet to be approved, you must satisfy the following requirements:
- You must not have been convicted of any Level Four charges within the last 30 days.
- You must volunteer for a pat down upon arrival and may not carry any weapons with you to the program.
- You must have a valid San Andreas driver's license.
- You may not have attended a session of the Traffic Safety Program within the last 30 days.

- AF08 - Aircraft Piracy
- SF01 - Domestic Terrorism
- SF06 - Possessing Destructive Devices or Explosives
- WF04 - Possession of a Class 3 Firearm
- WF05 - Possession of a Class 4 Firearm
- GF17 - Rape
- SF05 - Torture
