Los Santos: On July 9th, the Los Santos Police Department marked yet another day of significance as it welcomed and celebrated an addition to its Command Staff, making it a week of celebration and advancement for many across the rank and file.
George Hill has promoted to the rank of Captain, assigned as the Commanding Officer, Recruitment and Employment Division. This position is crucial and critical to the Los Santos Police Department and its daily operations, as it holds the responsibility of overseeing the growth of the Department through the recruitment and hiring of prospective candidates.
Captain Hill, alongside Sergeant Phillip Mahone, has made significant strides to improve the hiring processes of the Los Santos Police Department, which not only includes the outward processes involving the candidates directly, but also the internal processes for recruitment officers within the division and the Department. One of such recent developments is the public-facing LSPD web portal, which is not only used for recruitment but also for all other public services, permitting civilians to skip the potential confusion of forms through an easy-to-follow web page.
Hill started his career in law enforcement in 2021 as a Police Officer assigned to general patrol operations, assigned to the Mission Row Division. He remained a patrol officer until a brief transfer to the Los Santos County Sheriff's Department. Upon Hill's return to the Los Santos Police Department in 2022, he was assigned to D Platoon, also known as LSPD SWAT. Here, Hill remained until he took a break from the Department, until his inevitable return in early 2023, when he was once more assigned to D Platoon. Through the Metropolitan Division, Hill climbed the ranks, eventually promoting to Sergeant. After a year and a half, George was reassigned to the Mission Row Division, returning to his roots, this time as a patrol sergeant. At this time, Hill started the process of transferring into the Detective Bureau, reassigning to Detective III. Through the next year of his career, Hill was assigned command of the Recruitment and Employment Division, which saw his eventual ascension to Lieutenant and now, Captain.
While he's not working, Hill enjoys hunting near his home in the Richman Glen area. He also runs several businesses in the city and is passionate about contributing to his local community. Known for his strong work ethic and sense of purpose, Hill has ambitions to continue growing his ventures and making a positive impact.
