Chief Elena Flores wrote: Yet another month passing by brings us into July, transitioning us out of the month dedicated to Pride and Men's Mental Health Awareness.

During the month of June, Police Administrator Ally Jean, along with other personnel assigned to the Community Affairs Section and the Los Santos County Sheriff's Department, hosted their Pride Parade, an event that started its planning phases in early 2025, at the beginning of March.

The Pride Parade was an event where all government agencies and a large majority of companies participated in a parade that drove from the Sandy Shores airfield all the way down to the parking garage commonly known as "Rainbow Parking". Upon arrival, an after-party was hosted by Plague Inc., a thriving local corporation.

I want to take a moment to highlight the efforts and participation of all agencies and organizations involved in the parade; the produced result was wonderful, and the impact would not have been the same had it not been for all participants. To that end, I would like to extend my gratitude to Police Administrator I Ally Jean, Sergeant II Jamie Lockwood, and LSSD's Captain Amelia Clarke for their strenuous effort in the planning and realization of this event.

I would like to further thank Benny's Original Motorworks, San Andreas State Government, Downtown Cab Co., San Andreas Department of Corrections, Plague Inc., Los Santos Motorcycle Club, Los Santos Emergency Medical Services, Vanguard Law, Redline Motorsports, Bayview Auto Center, San Andreas Judicial Branch, and Assured Services for their participation in the event. Multiple of these companies also donated vehicles to be given away at the after-party, which allowed for the hosting of a multi-car raffle.

Operationally, June has been another relatively quiet month, which, again, is not necessarily negative. Unfortunately, it does leave us with little to say about the month beyond maintaining the status quo and continuing efforts to strengthen the procedures and policies of the Department. We have further seen improvements made to the Department ranking structure within the Office of Operations, aimed at seeing a better path of progression for detectives.

On a final note, I wish to express once more my gratitude for the unwavering dedication and commitment of our officers, the deputies of the Sheriff's Department, all government workers, and every citizen who has contributed to making the City of Los Santos a better, safer place.

The Los Santos Police Department is committed to ensuring and protecting the safety and security of citizens and tourists of Los Santos to the highest standards of law enforcement. We are always looking for passionate individuals to join our ranks. If you are inspired to make a difference in your community, consider a career with LSPD.
