I was born on March 2nd, 2000, in a friendly neighborhood in Newark, New Jersey. My father, Richard Reed, was serving in the military since he was 20. My mother, Lucy Reed, was a nurse at the local hospital in the part where they nurse the children, taking care of them. My parents raised me to listen to people, to understand people better, and help them if needed. After graduating high school in 2018, I couldn't decide what to do with my life, what career path to choose. After months of thinking, I decided to go to college and decided to study biology, but I didn't have set goals quite yet. I believe that by studying biology, I could gain valuable knowledge that would help me in life. The course wasn't that long as it didn't focus on anything related to having a career in biology; it covered the basic knowledge of biology. While going to college, I didn't really go out and party as I believed if I did something else, it could influence my studies and make me not as interested in studies if I went and partied all the time. In my time at college, there was a brief time where I could become an intern at a hospital and see what I could do with my life with the biology knowledge and help people who need it the most. It made me appreciate the work that hospitals do. After a year of studying biology, I gained enough knowledge to benefit me, and I decided to drop out and end my studies in biology, never really getting a real major.

2.2 Why do you want to join the San Andreas Department of Corrections, and why should we hire you over other applicants? (minimum 75 words)
I am interested in becoming apart of the Department of Corrections, because I want to see the process fully of processing inmates, I have previous experience working as a LEO, so I have a bit of knowledge of the procedures, but I am interested in knowing more about it. I would like to become apart of DOC because of the possibility to rehabilitate inmates and help them find a better path for themselves and not be the same person they were when they came to the establishment.
