ISSUANCE OF VERDICT

IN THE SUPERIOR COURT OF SAN ANDREAS

State of San Andreas v. Ivy Jefferson (Raven)
#25-BT-0101

A decision was reached in the above case on the 11th day of August, 2025.

The Court has performed a Judicial Review of this case following the Defendant's request, given they were unable to attend their scheduled trial.

This case stems from an incident that took place on the 3rd day of June, 2025. Officers were involved in a Traffic Stop at Legion Square where an unidentified individual was given lawful orders to step back from the Traffic Stop, as well as to remove their mask. This individual then failed to do so, running from Police.

The Court finds that the actions of the Officers were justified and lawful as the actions of the defendant were initially in violation of GC04 - Face Concealment. Through the Defendant's failure to follow the lawful orders from Officers, they were subsequently in violation of GM10 - Failure to Comply / Identify and GM19 - Face Concealment (b), establishing Probable Cause to perform an arrest. The arrest of the individual, identified as the Defendant, Ivy Jefferson, led to the discovery of the firearm in their possession.

The Court finds that the actions of the Defendant in this case met the threshold for further charges, given their refusal to follow lawful orders as well as exhibits listed in their possession. However, the Court will respect the original charges placed by the charging department.

It is with the above considerations that I issue the following verdict:
  • On the count of WM02 - Possession of a Class 1 Firearm, I find the defendant, Ivy Jefferson, guilty.

In addition to the Infraction Notice placed on the Docket for failing to appear to the originally scheduled trial, an additional $15,000 fine will be placed to cover court fees, totalling $25,000.
