- I was attempting to pull over a green 10-F for not having a license plate, Upon pulling him over when I called out a 10-55, the suspect hopped out of his 10-F with a Special Carbine, and Body armor and started lighting it up. He then hopped back into his Car and started to evade. I called in shots fired and dropped a panic and Lieutenant Derringer called in JTAC 1 for the pursuit, he authorized to shoot and take tires on his vehicle. I got in the back of the pursuit line, but when PD joined they had AIR-1 on him, and they saw him switch into a pink Drag. He continued to evade intell falling off his bike, and getting gunned down, Deputy Behr treated him, and took the weapons off of him. I later then got the evidence putting it in his locker. MD got to the scene, and furthermore treated him. We brought him to lower pillbox, then to DOC without anymore issues.

Witness Statement
- I was patrolling up north when a green vehicle didn't have a license plate, I attempted to do a normal traffic stop when the Driver later ID'ed as Swat Nixon, Jumped out with body armor and a heavy. He shot my tires, and the bullets hit me once in the knee. He fled and I called out on the radio shots fired. We took it to JTAC 1, and we got air, and a bunch of units on him. I did not see him again till he was on the ground getting treated by a deputy. He was already cuffed and searched, and I just waited for MD to come and treat him the rest. I took the arrest as I initiated the traffic stop. After we brought him to MD, he got to doc just fine.

Witness Information

Witness Statement
- I remember the deputy involved, Justin Adams called out that he was conducting 10-55 on the vehicle when he suddenly cried out that the suspect had gotten from his vehicle and opened fire on him immediately. I believe we did lose the initial suspect but AIR-1 picked him up switching vehicles onto his pink drag.
Note, we were ORIGINALLY after this same Pink Drag from earlier, so switching back to the same target vehicle only doubled down our suspicions. He did eventually crash somewhere south of the Redwood Lights track where we engaged him in a firefight to the point of severe injury. Suspect matched the clothing/weaponry/traffic stop description and was charged for the attempted murder and possession in addition to other noted behaviors.

ISSUANCE OF VERDICT
IN THE SUPERIOR COURT OF SAN ANDREAS
State of San Andreas v. Swat Nixon
#25-BT-0089
A decision was reached in the above case on the 13th day of July, 2025.
The main arguments raised in this case by the defense are around how the Sheriff's Department identified Mr. Nixon as the individual charged with the alleged crimes. The argument from the defense is that there was no clear footage or physical evidence indicating that Mr. Nixon was indeed the individual observed in Exhibit #3, but rather that Mr. Nixon was someone in the wrong place at the wrong time.
The prosecution reiterated the witness statements from the supporting evidence to the dashcameras, stating that an Airship maintained visual contact the entire time. The prosecution also highlighted the physical attributes of Mr. Nixon in comparison to the individual seen in Exhibit #3 opening fire towards the Sheriff's Department, along with the same form of weapon being found in his possession.
The Court finds that the Prosecution has met the burden of proof to suggest beyond a reasonable doubt that Mr. Nixon was indeed the individual seen in Exhibit #3, as the doubt being raised by the defense did not outweigh the physical and witness evidence provided to the Court.
In the matter of the charge of Attempted SF02 - Murder of a Government Employee, the Court finds that the actions of the defendant do not fit with this intended charge. The actions of Mr. Nixon did not show a concerted effort to attempt to murder the Deputy initiating the traffic stop, but rather an attempt to facilitate his escape.
It is with the above considerations that I issue the following verdict:
- On the count of VF01 - Evading an Officer, I find the defendant Swat Nixon, guilty.
- On the count of VM09 - Operation of a Vehicle without a License Plate, I find the defendant Swat Nixon, guilty.
- On the count of WM05 - Possession of Body Armor as a Felon, I find the defendant Swat Nixon, guilty.
- On the count of WF03 - Possession of a Class 2 Firearm, I find the defendant Swat Nixon, guilty.
- On the count of SF02 - Attempted Murder of a Gov. employee, I find the defendant Swat Nixon, not guilty.
- On the count of WF01 - Assault with a Deadly Weapon of a Gov. Employee, I find the defendant Swat Nixon, guilty.
The defendant should make their way to City Hall at their earliest convenience to have the change to their record noted as well as the payment of $2,250 returned to them for fines, time, and other expenses/inconveniences incurred from the contested charges.
