San Andreas Judicial Branch Judicial Branch Launches Public Defense Subscription Service "EQUAL JUSTICE UNDER LAW" |

The San Andreas Judicial Branch is pleased to announce the opening of the Cayo Perico Courthouse, open for business starting April 1st! The new branch is being opened to help address the backlog of court cases, and help speed up the process for everyone. The new courthouse is also now extremely accessible via the new bridge, and we look forward to serving the public not only in San Andreas but also in Cayo Perico.
Besides traditional court cases, we're also looking to embrace local traditions by offering a "Trial By Combat" option, unique to the Cayo Perico Courtroom. While the motions themselves are still under internal review, we are excited to share a draft of it to the public!
Not only will this new form of trial help expedite trials through the Judicial Branch's queue, we also expect this method to cut down on the number of submissions the courts receive. By adjusting the expectations from a reasonable doubt to belief until death, this faster and more efficient process will benefit everyone.Judicial Branch wrote:

MOTION FOR CHANGE OF VENUE
IN THE SUPERIOR COURT OF SAN ANDREAS
State of San Andreas v. DEFENDANT
A Motion for Change of Venue was filed in the above case on the XXth MONTH, 2025.
The defendant, name, by and through the undersigned attorney, filed this Motion for Change of Venue, and the reasoning for request is as follows;
- Requested Venue: Trial By Combat
- Detailed Explanation: The defendant believes that the gods know the truth of their innocence. They request they have their verdict, not the judgment of men but through the gods judgement in combat. The local spirits shall look down on these two parties and judge them justly, and shall to lend its strength to the party whose cause is just and true. The involved parties will re-adjourn according to guidance from local spiritual officials.
