Los Santos: This Wednesday, following a detailed investigation led by Los Santos Police Department Detectives, an illegal chop shop operation was successfully uncovered and dismantled. The chop shop was located at Los Santos International Airport.
Following the discovery, officers executed a coordinated operation that uncovered multiple suspects. During their arrest, the suspects were found in possession of an extensive amount of tools and heavy equipment used to strip vehicles for parts, intended for illegal resale and distribution.

This bust is part of the LSPD’s ongoing efforts to crack down on vehicle theft and the growing network of chop shops profiting from stolen vehicles across the city.
The suspects involved are now facing serious criminal charges, including VF03 - Operating a Chop Shop and GF11 - Grand Theft Auto. These crimes are not victimless, but they represent a serious threat to public safety and the security of property owners across Los Santos. Stolen vehicles are often stripped and sold within hours, becoming difficult to trace, with parts trafficked into underground markets. These sales support criminal enterprises in their illegal operations, from fraud to violent crime.
This case serves as a clear reminder:
👉 Chop shops are illegal.
👉 Vehicle theft will not be tolerated.
👉 The LSPD is committed to tracking down and dismantling these operations wherever they hide.
Whether it’s an abandoned vehicle, suspicious movement in and out of industrial sites, or heavy activity in garages or airport hangars during odd hours, your information could be the key to stopping the next major operation. If you witness anything unusual, contact LSPD immediately by dialing 911. Every tip matters. You can remain anonymous, and your report could protect countless others from becoming victims.
