I responded and was in a Terminus with Commander Jessica Nash, behind Officer Molloy's unit. Upon arrival, our vehicles started to get lit up with heavy weaponry. Detective Linton was updating us with intel the entire time because he managed to get the radio frequency the gang was using, so we knew where each individual was. I was right behind Officer Molloy and we managed to neutralize all of the suspects. One of our SWAT members got injured in the gunfight which is why they received the charge Attempted SF02 - Murder of a Gov. Employee. Moreover, each individual was wearing face concealment and had a firearm on their possession which backs up the other charges. Commander Nash was the arresting Officer for the individual in question and found 10 x Marijuana plants on them, explaining the DM04 - Possession of a Controlled Substance while Armed charge.

ISSUANCE OF VERDICT

IN THE SUPERIOR COURT OF SAN ANDREAS

State of San Andreas v. Marco Romero
#25-BT-0069

A decision was reached in the above case on the 29th day of June, 2025.

While the third witness statement mentions pistols being fired, the court finds that the burden of proof that the defendant fired their weapon has not been met by prosecution. There was no direct evidence that the defendant fired their firearm at all, let alone at a law enforcement officer.

It is with the above considerations that I issue the following verdict:
  • On the count of SF02 - Attempted Murder of a Government, I find the defendant, Marco Romero, not guilty.

The defendant should make their way to City Hall at their earliest convenience to have the change to their record noted as well as the payment of $40,500 returned to them for fines, time, and other expenses/inconveniences incurred from the contested charges.
