- Blaine County: The Los Santos County Sheriff's Department (LSSD) is proud to announce the launch of a new Bounty Program, designed to empower the public to assist law enforcement in combating criminal activity. This initiative, led by the Sheriff's Investigation Bureau (SIB), invites informants to provide credible and actionable intelligence on stash houses and other criminal operations in exchange for potential rewards.
-
How the Bounty Program Works
The Bounty Program offers financial rewards to individuals who provide detailed, verifiable information that leads to successful raids and seizures of illegal contraband, including narcotics, weapons, and other illicit items. Rewards will vary based on the quantity, type, and severity of the contraband seized.
To qualify for a reward, submissions must meet the following criteria:- Credibility: Reports must include verifiable evidence supporting the information provided.
- Effectiveness: The information must lead to the approval of a search warrant by investigators.
- Results: The resulting search must uncover and seize illegal substances, weapons, or other contraband.
The LSSD emphasizes that submitting false information or fabricating evidence is a criminal offense. Violators may face charges under the San Andreas Penal Code, including:- Section GM-12: Providing False Information to a Police Officer.
- Section GF-24: Perjury.
-
How to Submit a Report
Individuals with information about criminal activity, including gang-affiliated stash houses, can confidentially submit their reports using the official LSSD form. The form requires detailed information, including:- Your Information: Full name, phone number, address, and other contact details.
