Man, I took that last rejection hard, harder than I should have. But like Jeff Probst has taught me, I need to be a survivor.
Ever since I saw DENIED, I started walking. And I kept walking until I reached the coastline. That’s where I’ve been—camping, foraging, surviving. To show you how I have changed I will share a story with you
There I was, days into my wilderness hell, when I heard a sound coming from a bush. I slow-crawled toward it, hoping I had finally found dinner after four long days. But when I opened the bush, I didn’t find food, I found a small coyote, its paw caught in a trap. It was whimpering, its eyes filled with pure terror. And in that moment, I saw something familiar. I saw myself.
I moved carefully, gesturing to show I meant no harm. At first, the pup was scared, but I eventually convinced him I was a friend. I managed to free his paw annd wipe some blood from it and for a brief moment, we locked eyes. For the first time in a long LONG time I felt like I had found a friend.
Then after about two seconds,……….the little fucker bit me and ran off.
That was enough to convince me it was time to seek gainful employment and get out of the forest.So here I am looking for that.
