Witness Statement
- I Dean Molloy on the 7th of February 2025 while in a Tac Channel with the DB Bureau conducting an investigation, we were informed by an undercover detective that he spotted what seemed to be a firearm on an individual that jumped into a bright in color Terminus, 3 stacked around the City Hall area.
Our Air unit followed the vehicle from above.
We initially observed the vehicle coming out of an alleyway and driving towards the back of City Hall.
My unit K9-1 pulled over the vehicle, and after identifying all occupants of the vehicle the K9 Handler took out the dog and informed the individuals in the vehicle.
First, the dog performed the sniff test around the car when he indicated that something was in the vehicle, so we found an AP Pistol with 100 rounds in the glovebox.
Then the dog moved and sniffed all 3 individuals and we found drugs on their person as well. Detectives on scene took fingerprints from the firearm that matched our suspect , that was also the driver of the vehicle.
