Detailed information of your request:

My client, Ivy Hirano, was charged with NM08 - Abuse of Government Public Safety Radio Frequencies or Hotlines on 03/02/2025 at 01:41. I would like to understand the grounds for this charge and why she was not arrested for this alleged crime despite being seen multiple times by law enforcement officers on that exact date.

Respectfully,

Thank you for your patience while this has been under review. We are not able to publicly share sensitive details regarding a case like this, however, the individual was charged after multiple misuses of the emergency hotline.

I would like to understand the grounds for this charge and why she was not arrested for this alleged crime despite being seen multiple times by law enforcement officers on that exact date. I cannot explain in specifics why they were not detained whilst having an active warrant, but this information would only be available if their credentials was actively checked on the MDC, and seeing that the suspect may not have known about the charge, there may not have been a reason to check their records.

Moving forwards, I highly recommend that a internal request is submitted as we do not usually share sensitive information publicly.
