Witness Statement
- On that night we received a backup from a unit who caught individuals in the act of robbing on a store. Most had fled but they had atleast one at gunpoint. A call out of the fleeing vehicles was given. My unit responded and arrived on scene to find a Shinobi, one of the vehicles called out was off-road back onto the road. I attempted to stop them, this is when they began to evade from my lights and sirens.
They evaded for only a few minutes until stalling the bike and trying to flee on foot. We quickly caught them, got them in cuffs and read them their rights. During our investigation we saw through CCTV that Jason, who was matching the exact description of the man who was holding the gun to the Clerk. We spent some time trying to locate the gun they stashed unfortunately to no luck.

Case Information
- Case Number: [Case Number]
Incident Date: [25/JAN/2025]
Witness Information
- Name: [Hans Waltz]
Date of Birth: [24/JUN/1997]
Phone Number: [277-7478]
Occupation: [Sergeant within LSSD]
Witness Statement
- [On the day in question, we responded to multiple store robberies across the area. When we arrived at the robbery in Chumash, we were informed that one suspect had been detained while the others had fled.
After that, Sergeant Clay Thompson and Deputy Marks, who were in the city, observed an individual matching the description of one of the suspects. They saw the suspect just minutes after the robbery. In order to know whether the suspect was involved or not, I proceeded to review the CCTV footage from the store. The footage showed the same individual inside the store, visibly armed with a firearm.
To confirm if they were chasing the same suspect, I asked Sergeant Thompson and Deputy Marks to confirm the suspect’s clothing, and they did. Based on everything they provided, everything matched what was seen in the CCTV footage. Given that the suspect was seen after a few minutes of the store robbery and was seen having a firearm, I assessed that he would have had only a minute or two to dispose of the weapon before continuing to evade from Sergeant Thompson and Deputy Marks. As well, the suspect was aware that one of his friends was caught so it was reasonable to conclude that he may have ditched the firearm near the area to avoid being caught in possession of the firearm that was used in the crime.
For these reasons, I told Deputy Marks to apply the GF16.]
Witness Affirmation
- I, [Hans Waltz], affirm that the above statement is true to the best of my knowledge and belief. I affirm that this statement has been made voluntarily, made without promise of reward, and made not under threat, force, or coercion. ((I affirm that all information submitted has been obtained via In-Character means.))
Signed,

[Hans Waltz]
