Witness Statement
- Hello. This will be a short witness statement as it was a simple arrest in my opinion and one that I remember clearly. I was driving in the City near central MD on innocence when a vehicle turned onto my road and was infront of me. Once the vehicle had spotted me it started to drive erratically, stopping and slowling down to almost a complete stop before then proceeding. I was going to initiate a traffic stop on the vehicle to ensure the driver was alright, when I scanned the plate before I put my lights on the vehicle came back as "Reported Stolen" by the owner. I initiated a stop and before I could even make my radio call and request additional backup Trevor Pheasey exited the vehicle and surrendered themselves. They were cuffed, rights were read and they were brought to DOC for transporting. If memory services correct when out of the vehicle and rights were read they were questioned why they just hopped out at which point they admitted to knowing the vehicle was stolen and they didn't want to resist.
Witness Affirmation
- I, Clay Thompson, affirm that the above statement is true to the best of my knowledge and belief. I affirm that this statement has been made voluntarily, made without promise of reward, and made not under threat, force, or coercion. ((I affirm that all information submitted has been obtained via In-Character means.))
Signed,
Clay Thompson
