OBJECTION
IN THE SUPERIOR COURT OF SAN ANDREAS
State of San Andreas v. Salvador Rivera
An Objection was filed in the above case on the 7th of February, 2025.
The State of San Andreas, by and through the undersigned attorney, filed this objection to a recent motion filed by the Defense.
- Motion being objected to: Defense's recent Motion for Change of Venue
- Detailed Reasoning: The Prosecution objects to a change of venue for this case as it is not fit for a bench trial. The charges being contested by the defendant warrant an in-depth examination in court, and the amount of evidence against the defendant collected by the Prosecution is of a volume that cannot comprehensively be presented and examined in a bench trial. Due to these circumstances, the Prosecution requests that the case remains pending activation for a felony trial.

Witness Statement
- Firstly, thank you for taking the time and effort to handle the matter!
I will give a detailed recollection of the event that I recall clearly, the rest you will have to review my body cam.
I was as far as I recall in an adam patrol with Officer Washington, I recall being in the back of the pursuit line, when AIR-1 called out that the vehicle stopped under a tree for a prolonged period of time and potentially dropped something, AIR-1 marked the location with a backup on the GPS and myself and Officer Washington broke away from the pursuit line to go ensure any evidence dropped was not stolen or tampered with, we look around the location of the backup and found the attached evidence, 150x Ecstasy, 39x Crack, 33x LSD and 10x Marijuana.
We secured this evidence and as far as I recall, we did not participate in the remainder of the arrest, however for the sake of clarity, the evidence was found at the exact location the suspect vehicle stopped and the suspect dismounted, aswell as directly at the location of the backup.
Thank you for your time!

I affirm that this statement has been made voluntarily, made without promise of reward, and made not under threat, force, or coercion. * Video start as captain steel calls out a pursuit of a nero custom in TAC-1*
The cruiser, driven by Officer Washington, follow the pursuit of a nero custom, informed to have evaded a traffic stop. VC of the vehicle is sporadically maintained.
*about 3 minutes of pursuit entail with the cruiser following at highspeed CODE 3 to keep up with the vehicle*
AIR-1 unit calls out over the TAC that the suspect vehicle has stopped on next backup and has exited the vehicle, shortly after The unit of Captain Martin and Captain Steels calls out that they have eyes on the suspect and that he is discarding evidence, immediately followed by a call that the suspect is getting back in his vehicle and taking off, the Cpatins unit pursuing, asking for a unit to remain with the evidence.
I would open my GPS and note at what location the cruiser with ground eyes, as well as AIR-1 is located. placing an additional mark on the location. Sergeant Lockwood would then call out "Our unit will head the evidence drop and collect the evidence.
Sergeant Lockwood and her partner head to the location, arriving roughly 30 seconds after Captain Steel's units left. Captain Martin calling out he also marked the location where he saw the suspect dropping evidence, sending the mark to Sergeant Lockwood and Officer Washington.
I would start to look around the area of the mark sent by Captian Martin aswell as the backup dropped by AIR-1.
Officer Washington would call out "Ive got it here"
I Would run over to the location, careful to not move the evidence, taking out her GPS and comparing the location of the evidence with the AIR-1 Backup, the Mark by Captain Martin and the preliminary mark taken by Sergeant Lockwood.
the Evidence would be within a very small area of the collective marks and backup.
I begin to pack up the evidence wearing gloves, calling out the the evidence was seized and placed into the cruiser of 22-S-20.

Witness Information
- Name: Jason Steel

Occupation: Police Captain, Los Santos Police Department
Witness Statement
- To the best of my recollection, I, Captain Jason Steel while on-duty as a police officer and operating a police vehicle clocked a Nero Custom driving past the speed limit on Route 68 (at this later date, I do not recall the exact speed). I turned on the lights and sirens on my vehicle and the Nero pulled over for a regular traffic stop. I called for backup and the Nero drove away from the traffic stop before being released from detainment, attempting to elude us at high speeds. LSPD Airship arrived overhead relatively quickly, being flown by Police Detective Edward Linton. The driver of the Nero took the super car off road and through mountains, so that my police vehicle had trouble keeping up, but the Airship was able to maintain strong visual. The airship communicated to me the Nero's position, and stated that it stopped near the root of a tree; we approached quickly and saw a man dropping items on the ground, then re-enter the Nero and drive away. The LSPD's GPS system to mark the location of the dropped items for Police Sergeant Lockwood and her partner, whom were able to arrive at the location marked by us, and found narcotics on the ground. The Nero continued evading until his vehicle was flipped during the pursuit, at that point being placed in cuffs and identified as Salvadore Rivera. The suspect stated either that he did not drop anything, or that he doesn't know anything about narcotics, or both.
