Los Santos County Sheriff's Department OPERATION: KUTTE THROAT - Recognition of involved Departments "A TRADITION OF SERVICE" |
- December 8th, 2024

Dear Colleagues,
On the night of December 8th the Los Santos County Sheriff's Department, along with the Los Santos Police Department, Los Santos State Government, Department of Corrections, and Los Santos Emergency Services came under heavy fire brought upon us by the terrorist organizations that are LOST MC, OTF and Midnight.
These ratcheted individuals prepared a cowardly ambush on Vespucci Beach. Helicopters identified heat signatures of multiple heavily armed, body armor-wielding, terrorists preparing to unleash a hailstorm of bullets on our heroic government employees to force the state to give in to their demands. Governor Langley reached out to these groups and wanted to negotiate an end to the war they declared on us. But to no avail. They were thirsty for blood, the blood of our brothers and sisters in law enforcement.
They opened fire, unprovoked, on our helicopters and forced our hand to intervene.
That we did, in great numbers and with an unprecedented show of force, once tactical units from SD, PD, GOV, and DOC arrived on the scene, we quickly established positions and snipers went to work picking off these terrorists one by one, while ground units fought tooth and nail for every inch of ground until we had successfully and fully secured the building.
While tactical units engaged in fierce firefights, the LSEMS heroically entered the battle zone to rescue our wounded units and bring them to safety, administering world-class first aid during an intense battle. Without the help of LSEMS and their heroic actions, our casualties would have been higher. I extend a huge thank you to our medical services.
I am immensely proud of all of SD, PD, GOV, DOC, and MD for their performance tonight. We were forced into a gunfight that was set up to trap us and managed to turn the tide immediately.
Sadly, we lost two members of our law enforcement family. I will reach out to their families in the morning to give them my condolences and ensure them that their loved ones were nothing short of heroes.
In a joint effort, we managed to eliminate 36 terrorists and arrest a number of them.
For this, I want to present a special ribbon to everyone who partook in tonight's Operation KUTTE THROAT.
I can't put my gratitude into words, you are what keeps this world going forward, what separates good from evil, and without you, this world would be hopeless.
You are heroes.
The ribbons will be sent by mail to every individual, I would have liked to present them to you all personally, however, the sheer number of people would make this a nightmare to organize.
