Criminal Group Charged in String of Store Robberies (NR076-24bc)

Los Santos: Last Monday, LSPD Detectives were following a string of store robberies taking place throughout San Andreas. A crew consisting of multiple individuals using the color orange, which Detectives had recently become aware of, was suspected in connection with the robberies, as orange vehicles had been seen leaving one of the scenes by officers. Another officer spotted the group of vehicles at Elgin Square shortly after, and initiated a traffic stop with multiple backup units.
Two vehicles and three suspects were involved in the traffic stop. Despite the suspects having changed clothes in an attempt to throw off the police, their physical traits all matched the video footage gathered from one of the stores, in addition to the vehicle matching. With the suspects having come from the area of the robbery within a very short time frame of the robbery occurring, these matching descriptions provided probable cause to detain and search the suspects and their vehicles.
The search of the individuals turned up some of the facemasks used in the robbery, and the search of the first vehicle turned up the gun used by one of the suspects, as seen on the video footage. The search of the second vehicle revealed a large amount of cash, which was traceable to the store where the last robbery took place. This cash contained another one of the suspects fingerprints on it. Both of the vehicles were owned by one of the suspects as well, and this evidence confirmed all 3 suspects' involvement in the crime.
The suspects were questioned regarding their crimes, and were charged accordingly. The gunman was charged for possession of a Class 1 firearm, and all suspects were charged for armed robbery. The group uses the color orange on their clothing and vehicles. If you see any suspicious activity, especially involving matching color cars near a store, call 911.
