INCIDENT NARRATIVE
- Incident Date: 23/OCT/2024
Explain what happened, sufficient detail must be given to justify the placed charges, videos could be provided.
- Officer Phillip Mahone, alongside Cadet George Edwards, both operating under 3-G-18, responded to a pursuit of a two-times occupied Glendale. The pursuit was rather slow as the vehicle was driving in reverse for almost 90% of the entirety of the pursuit. Eventually, the units boxed the vehicle on Supply Street and two of the suspects dismounted the vehicle, and both started running. One of the suspects was quickly tased by Officer Mahone, where he was taken into custody. Once handcuffed, the suspect tried running again, where a taser was deployed once more.
The suspect was searched, Mirandized, and identified as Alexander Kartee. Alexander was placed in a cruiser and was compliant from that point on. He was transported to DOC where he was processed.

- On or around October 23rd I responded to a pursuit situation involving Alexander Kartee and his accomplice.
After a relatively slow pursuit through the city the vehicle Mr.Kartee was boxed in by police, where both Alexander Kartee and his accomplice exited the vehicle and fled on foot after being ordered to stop.
Alexander was eventually tased by officers and taken into custody.

- Officer Phillip Mahone and Cadet George Edwards responded to a pursuit of a very slow vehicle evading officers while driving in reverse. The pursuit eventually ended on Supply Street where both occupants, one of them being Alexander Kartee, exited the vehicle and started running. Alexander was tased multiple times and was told to stop running, however, he did not comply with the officer's demands. Eventually officers got Kartee under control and from that point on he was compliant and successfully brought to DOC for processing.
The arrest report sums it up pretty well. Alexander had multiple chances during that pursuit to get out of the vehicle, however, he did not do so, and on top of that, resisted arrest multiple times.

- Alexander Kartee was in a Glendale (2x occupied) when Lieutenant Ashcroft was trying to pull him over. Our unit 3-G-18 which consisted of Cadet Edwards and Officer Mahone responded to. The Pursuit was rather slow as the driver was driving backwards multiple times on Olympic freeway. Our unit by instruction of Lieutenant ashcroft was trying to box him in as he was driving at low speeds. We Eventually boxed in Mr kartee on Supply street, Once handcuffed, the suspect tried running again, where a taser was deployed once more.
