Request Information
Detailed information of your request:
Hello! I will start this off by stating I am not sure if this is the right place to go about what I am attempting to achieve; however, given the lack of information I have regarding the situation it seemed best to formally request information this way before going through the route of Internal Affairs.
I am the legal business owner of Club Cix, which had a Halloween opening earlier this evening on October 5th. Shortly prior to our event ending, I was informed over the radio the LSSD was about to raid the building. Information was quite sparse and by the time I came to see what was happening, several deputies were in the area fully armed demanding to be let into the building because they had a warrant. When asked what for or more importantly, to see the warrant given it was my property, several of my employees were held at gunpoint and threatened with arrest for failure to comply.
I am curious to know who responded to this. I know one of the members in question goes by the name of 'Cliff' and they were the primary aggressor; however, they were not the only problematic ones as several in the parking lot were held at gunpoint at one point or another.
I have never denied entry to my building when law enforcement has requested, nor did I intend do in this case, but I am a bit baffled as to why we were met with violence and threats when asked to know what the reasoning was for being asked to enter a building with over 4 dozen people as I was under the impression it was my right per the 4th amendment in the Los Santos Constitution.
It is worth noting that shortly after these threats of non-compliance were made, several rushed out of the building and a shootout occurred inside my parking lot where quite a bit of property damage was incurred. LSSD never entered the property and if I am being quite honest, I am less worried about that and more about which officers refused to answer a simple question. Had they done so, they'd have been let in with no issue and any damages could have been avoided.
I am happy to discuss this further via email or file an IA report with the proper names of those involved.
Thank you in advance!
