On the day in question, I was simply standing near my brother, who is the one alleged to have tried breaking into the house. I had no part in this. At the time, I was focused on my phone, unaware of what was happening around me. I was not participating or assisting in any criminal activity. My brother, who has been charged with Burglary, can confirm in a formal statement that I did not participate in or have any knowledge of his actions.
I didn't know up until know that I can appeal a charge like this, so I ask the court to take into consideration the surrounding circumstances.
