Case Information
- Incident Date: 30/AUG/2024
Witness Information
- Name: Phillip Mahone
Date of Birth: 13/JUN/1997
Phone Number: 286-3780
Occupation: Police Officer II, Los Santos Police Department
Witness Statement
- On the 30th of August, 2024, units of the Los Santos Police Department responded to a pursuit of a black vehicle, unknown make and model, registered to Oli Oogway. The pursuing unit then informed officers that the suspect got out of their vehicle and immediately got in a green Issi Sport, where another pursuit occurred.
While pursuing said Issi Sport, the passenger of the vehicle started shooting from inside of the vehicle towards the officers and their vehicles, however no ADAM units were present to return fire, so units continued pursuing the vehicle.
Eventually, the vehicle took a left after Burger Shot, north-bound turn on Prosperity Street Promenade and crashed their vehicle in one of the middle dividers, flipping their vehicle. Both of the occupants immediately got out of the car, where the driver started running away, and the passenger, identified as Oli Oogway, started shooting at officers, seriously injuring one officer, Isaac Abdullah, and almost downing one more (myself), however he was neutralized.
When searched, Oli had a Pistol .50 with a suppressor attached on it.
The reason for the charges:
- VF01 - Evading an Officer - The suspect evaded in two vehicles, one of his own vehicle before switching to the Issi Sport, evading in that one as well.
- WM02 - Possession of a Class 1 Firearm - The suspect, after being neutralized, was handcuffed and searched, where a Pistol .50 alongside a suppressor attached on it was found, used in the shooting as well. Reference Exhibit B.
- Attempted SF02 - Murder of a Gov. Employee - As previously said, the suspect shot at officers, seriously injuring one. Reference Exhibit A.
- GM19 - Face Concealment - Throughout the entirety of the situation, Oogway was wearing a mask. Reference Exhibit A.
- WM03 - Criminal Use of weapon modifications - As previously mentioned, the Pistol .50 that was found on his person had a suppressor attached to it. Reference Exhibit B.
- WF02 - Shooting from a Vehicle - The passenger, Oli Oogway, started shooting at officers and their vehicles from the Issi Sport.
((There is no arrest report for Oli Oogway for that situation, as he was involved in a report for NONRP, which was handled by Joveltine. I can provide screenshots of my DM's with Joveltine about the situation to whoever needs it.))
Exhibit A: Body Camera ((Bodycam RP Proof))
Exhibit B: Photography of Possessions
Exhibit C: Dashcam footage of Oli Oogway in a police vehicle
((If needed, I can respond what else the body camera might've caught during that, since my Instant Replay is set to record only 10 minutes.))
Witness Affirmation
- I, Phillip Mahone, affirm that the above statement is true to the best of my knowledge and belief. I affirm that this statement has been made voluntarily, made without promise of reward, and made not under threat, force, or coercion. ((I affirm that all information submitted has been obtained via In-Character means.))
Signed,
