1. INFORMATION ABOUT THE BOUNTY PROGRAM
- Welcome to the Los Santos Police Department Bounty Program. Using this service allows you to submit criminal intelligence on stash houses to the Gang and Narcotics Division. Informants will be rewarded with up to or exceeding $100,000 for information that leads to a police raid. The amount rewarded depends on the quantity of illegal weapons, drugs, and other illegal items seized.
In order to qualify for a reward, the information must meet the following criteria:- There must be a paper trail of some sort associated with the information. There should be sufficient evidence to prove that the information is not made up.
- The information must contribute to the approval of the search warrant on the property or person.
- The search must lead to the seizure of contraband such as illegal weapons or narcotics.
FILING A FALSE BOUNTY REPORT AND/OR PROVIDING FALSE INFORMATION IS A CRIME
Any person(s) filing a false bounty report and/or providing false information and answers is liable and may be charged and convicted under San Andreas Penal Code section GM-12 (Giving False Information to a Police Officer) and GF-24 (Perjury). Filing a false bounty report or providing false information and answers is punishable by imprisonment and by a fine not exceeding $4,000.
